This is basically Classic MoP with some Season of Discovery elements. Why don’t they develop stuff for the current version of the game? I don’t want to go back and play MoP again.

Is the xmog class locked to what you play? Or can you get all xmog for all classes by playing a single char?

Like in BFA you have silly bugger side with Dark lady, What if You loyal to Garrosh… I want them pull a season of discovery moment unlock some Kor’korn items to get durning Dark spear rebllion and siege of org.
No one promised you anything. That was speculation from a few YouTubers based on what they saw, nothing more.

Will these new characters be made on existing servers so that they transfer (or don’t need to transfer i suppose) properly upon The War Within to merge them?
Hey Every one want PVE event form Plunderstorm… it what I was thinking in wow head when they show that… 
For plunderstorm it was fomo.
For this, it appears to be “it’s old”. Tho i’m sure fomo will come up once we get an idea how long it lasts and the rewards.
Sounds almost like a MoP Timewalking on steroids.

So dramatic… They’re giving more character slots so you don’t have to replace anything.

Does that mean I can get the challenge mode sets? Like I grind up to 70 and gear up and actually earn it in a cool and fun event rather than BMAH or something?

Players were wanting Plunderstorm PvE, yes, but no one from Blizzard specifically stated that’s what we’d get.

Even if it’s a recolor that would be fantastic! One of my biggest regrets from MoP was not getting some of those sets.
I had the skill and gear to do it, I just didnt bother.

It shows on the ptr that the event starts Friday and ends Sunday. Is this the only time we’ll be able to test this?

Just wished they hadn’t chosen MoP, it was my most hated expansion until SL.
Don’t feel like revisiting bug people, childish monkey people, and the fish people.

But the switch to being able to convert any remix character into a playable character in WS1 is appealing, if everything that’s looted in remix (mounts, toys, cosmetics) gets to stay with the character and be accessible to standard game alts.
I won’t be keeping more than one of each class. It’s pointless to me.
The new char is indeed either getting deleted or replacing one of my own.
Much likely the former.
Or I can use this is as a faux faction/server transfer and get a new main (even more unlikely).
I’d rather transfer, delevel and use an existing character over creating a new one.
