Since you realize that it is a retail wow sub with free Classic yes, we are in agreement. Not like it was ever a debatable point to begin with.
I knew you couldnât resist. You are easily triggered to get the last word. Using wording like âcurrentâ and âretailâ are your added terms. The fact is that it is a WoW subscription with no added terms around it. While your definition in the past would tie into being the current retail version, when classic releases the subscription is no longer for current/retail and is now an option. There isnât a debate here, just you not liking your point contested.
This! Only reason Iâm back is Classic, not the garbage that is retail.
Except blizzard stated exactly what I said but apparently you canât read blue text.
I think the full Classic forums will be postable by WoW subs only anyway (this classic discussion forum was made an exception) , so no point releasing the forums so early when most of the people posting there will be people currently playing in BFA.
I expect they will release the classic forums when the name reserving begins when Classic players starts subbing for Classic.
Because all my WoD gold pays for the sub for me. Imagine playing BfA.
I suppose.
However, it is listed as âWorld of Warcraft Classicâ and âWorld of Warcraftâ on the BN screen, with a choice of accounts you wish to use.
Itâs seen as two separate accounts in BN, Iâd take that to mean.
And itâs not like you ever have to enter âWorld of Warcraftâ to get to âWorld of Warcraft Classicâ. They are on separate lines.
Semantics, no doubt.
So is the implication that those returning to WoW need to purchase the expansions to get to current retail? Havent heard that as a requirement, just that a person needs a WoW subscription. This refutes the point of âcurrent/retailâ since we wouldnât be current.
Blizzard specifically stated there is no sub cost for Classic as it is bundled free with your retail sub. There is no semantics argument.
Iâm sure the Classic forums will come when the game is released. I wonder about realm-specific forums, though.
The classic sub would be to subscribe without ever purchasing BFA
I understand and agree completely, with the caveat that - as long as you have game time in your Battle Net Account, you can play either.
That makes the Battle Net account no longer a âWorld of Warcraftâ account, it makes it an key to unlock both âWOWâ and âWOW-Câ.
Why are you so insistent with the semantics of the situation being your view? Itâs obvious now that you donât need a BfA license to play Classic. Just a BN balance.
I meanâŚyou could just as easily say thereâs no sub cost for Retail as itâs bundled free with your Classic sub.
But this is the WoW forums, so enjoy your 6 hour argument over semantics.
No one ever said you have to purchase BfA. You just need a current WoW sub, not limited by xpac purchase, which is exactly what blizzard stated and I repeated.
Except I am literally the only person in this thread who is not arguing semantics. I quoted blizzard.
heheh, quibbling over semanticsâŚhave we run out of stuff to complain about?
Honestly I was just having some fun with an obviously excitable person when it comes to forums. =)
Edit: here she goes again
That word does not mean what you think it means.
Semantics!! =p
Am i the only one who actually remembers peoples names or do you guys just not realize youâre arguing with each other all the time.
Just seems like most of you donât know your own reputation or the reputations of the people youâre arguing with.
