I’d rather it be linked to something like professions or quests…rep might make sense but it also has a “at war” status with me at the moment. :slightly_frowning_face:

For opposite faction you could either ‘cheat’ by sending the tome to your other character, or perhaps be a quest that involves spying on the race and watching them tame. ROFL.

Hunters can already tame Quilen… They are an exotic beast so are limited to BM.

Those Fairy or Faye dragons in Darkshore would be a decent unique tame for Night Elves.

I haven’t played hunter in years so they may be tamable already :man_shrugging:

That doesn’t make any sense because there is no restriction now. Any race can tame them.

Mechanicals are restricted to Gnomes and Goblins but other races can learn to tame them through other means. So you want Blizz to put a restriction on them so that only Pandaren can tame them, then add an item that allows other races to?

Most hunters are humanoids that can tame beasts. Since Worgen are beasts we should be able to tame humanoids.

I would actually make a hunter if they could have an undead pet. Give me Mr. Bigglesworth and we shall go on an adventure plunking arrows in to fools!

Exactly. Don’t see why you have a problem, this way BM’s aren’t the only ones who can tame them and we get more useful professions/maybe more class specific quests. I like roleplay more than I like convenience.

Nope that’s dumb indentured servitude is one thing Alliance condoned but that would be literal slavery. Which is the Warlocks gimmick. Also technically you are aberrations. So you should tame aberrations. Problem is there aren’t that many beast-like aberrations. Blizzard should make some.
That being said Mastiffs are a pretty Iconic doge that suits Gilnean’s well. Maybe you should just be able to buy actual dog breeds or something special like that. Forcing Blizzard to make more IRL Dogs in game.

I have several of the rotten variety of pets as I like the look, I think it’s plausible to tame undead, would be harmless fun, maybe they could have the cannibalize perk too :slight_smile:
