In a similar vein, a god of fear need not be all about making everyone run away, because fear reminds you in a very immediate way what’s most important to you. That’s the positive of fear.

I’ll point out the entire colony of death and decay adoring quillboar encroaching on the Tuskarr in the Dragon Isles. Is it nature magic? Not sure, but it seems as if it is and if so it’s another path for the forsaken.
This seems completely fine and well thought. Do I like it? No, but at least on paper it makes sense and that’s what matters.
What I would really dislike and it’s something I’ve been very vocal about would be they were introduced as yet another super secret society no one knew about and who have been pulling the strings of the balance of life all along. That’s just cheap lore.
I avoided adding in any such secret societies, as I preferred this being a recent development, a new sea change in the world and it’s relation between life, death, and the place in between.
