They dont even play the game lol, Delvarmaggedon is proof of that
I don’t bring Warriors at all lol. Only Warr I invite is tanks when I’m impatient to push 7’s.
Me neither, I love having my cosmetic Warrior alt, he looks pretty in my warband and that’s enough for me <3
And now mediocre ST. Fury were always known for having just burst windows, our sustained AoE is sadge. But we never beaten DH in AoE burst anyways… I think eventually Tank DH will deal more burst damage than Warrs.
An absolutely tonedeaf change that has no good reason to be pushed through.
The promise for target caps in bfa/shadowlands was that they would let specs excel in their niches, but this is just not how the balancing plays out. Being capped is a strict negative, uncapped classes will do just as much damage as you at your preferred target counts and blow you out of the water on anything higher than that.
As someone else has put it, the worst thing has happened to us. We dominated on HC week. Now we get to enjoy being trash for the rest of the season. YAY! Literally every high end content creator saying those nerfs weren’t necessary, but who cares. We’ll only get further and further behind as content gets harder. Whelp, guess I’ll just get nerfed and reroll for DK. Thanks blizzzz
They already are. PTR 11.0.5 is introducing 6% buff across the board for Retro Paladins. Yet Retros pals are already way outperforming Fury in AOE be it burst or not, even without this PTR buff.
Where is logic here? Too bad unqualified devs get employed.
Fury is crazy OP at 1 single thing. Bursting 10+ low max hp adds. It also helps that their damage profile lines up extremely well with the current raid encounter needs. That is the only reason to bring a Fury Warrior to any content right now. In sustained AOE encounters, other classes surpass Fury quickly. In M+ keys 8 and above, Fury is ranked 20th out of 26th for average overall DPS. For Damage to Boss in Mythic Raid at 95th percentile, Fury has the lowest Single Target in the game. This is not “data from noobs.” If they are going to nerf the one single thing that Fury is strong at (which is not even a very important thing to be strong at because other classes can do the same thing but take a few seconds longer), we need compensation in the form of consistent AOE and ST damage.
That’s incorrect. Warrior is brought for the 5% ap buff, rallying cry, and in this raid their burst aoe. With these changes any class that came close will be better than warrior in every burst aoe scenario.
I’d be ok with the target cap nerfs if they buffed fury single target, removed the 3% aura nerf, and/or improved warrior’s sustained aoe capability.
The issue with this buff is it only affects Phys Damage dealers. So depending on your raid composition Warrior potentially can be as useless as it can ever be. While other classes bring buff that affects every single member of the raid regardless of their damage source.
