So ff14 pretty much
I disagree; of course, we’re not meta, but I also don’t think we’re bad right now. The only healer I tested and found bad was Restodruid.
The reason you don’t see Rogues is because they are the definition of identity crisis right now.
People look at tier lists and see Sin at top. What they don’t realize is that Sin sucks balls in the raid, it’s weaker than Outlaw and Sub in the raid. If you mess up your opener in any way shape or form as Sin, you are about to be down with the tank, period, end of story.
Then while you’re actually playing it, you can’t look at the environment, you have to literally STARE at your weak auras. There is no way you’re going to be able to track everything in your head while also doing the raid mechanics, it just isn’t possible. They have designed a spec/class for AI and bots because the human brain can’t track all that and do the billions of bloated mechanics they’ve added simultaneously.
Or SWTOR. But yeah. The only other option would be Archetypes where every class has access to every ability and people could build custom classes like Druid Shamans, or Blood DK Mages. Something that adds all the flavor into one box and how you assemble it determines how it performs.
Holy paladins are still paying the price for DF season 2. They’re far from useless though. In M+ they can struggle but in raids and PVP they’re really good.
