Here’s what I’m planning on asking. Thoughts? Respectful yet to the point? Change/add anything?
Over the past few months there have been thousands of posts in both the EU and NA forums regarding the Dev Team’s current stance on unarmored mounts. Unarmored mounts were among some of the most iconic things about the first few months of Vanilla WoW, and over time became an enduring legacy of the past. As launch day approaches, it seems like more and more people are coming to the forums only to be dismayed at finding out that the mounts have been removed. Worse, the reasoning behind the change seems to be to cater to certain play styles, rather than due to technical or process limitations. Is it possible that you might reconsider this stance and allow the players a chance to have those beloved mounts again, and to make Classic that much more authentic by doing so?

I can see that being the case for some game mechanics, the economy, community aspects, class spec balance, itemization phasing, content phasing etc.
Our beloved “Shiny” is simply that, nothing consequential aside from player pride. Whether it be a Vanilla like experience 5.5 months giving the Hype train something “Shiny” to go after, for fun. Or a choice at the cost of 1000g for all of classic would be a nice addition as to what we are expecting currently.
Its an unfair assessment to think that the majority here arguing for a change which suddenly makes them incapable of having an opinion regarding my first sentence.
We’ve been here before though, Personally, I think its nice that they’ve changed things for the better regarding the other mass pleas like Classic being a thing, German language servers, RP-PVP. I don’t think a Shiny is something game breaking, other then something Blizzard can leverage for not allowing Classic the launch hype, exposure, and conversion from retail players it deserves.

I think it looks really good, covers a lot of ground and much more articulate than anything i could come up with. I’ve not been on reddit but will try to catch whatever happens tomorrow.

No, last thread got shut down because of petition. It’s safe to post links that includes information directly coming from the devs.
Also someone already downvoted my post on reddit…
Don’t worry, there’s quite a few of us posting about the unarmored mounts. I’m upvoting the ones I can find. I also got a few downvotes and that’s fine. There’s so many replies now I can’t even find mine because it’s been buried.
I went through all 2000 posts and searched by the word “unarmored” and upvoted all supporters.
My reply got upvoted now a lot. 6+ votes

Holy crap I just tried to use that website and I think I literally have a degenerative disease now… why anyone would use that website in any professional capacity is beyond me. Keep ignoring your forums though you guys are doing great.

Looks like theres questions about OSRS above anything regarding unarmored mounts. low IQ classic + gets more attention than stuff that was actually in vanilla LOL

So far the questions I’ve seen answered are regarding server pops… Hopefully they are gathering a list of most commonly asked questions and working down. There’s about 10 posts regarding unarmored mounts at present. Keep up the good work
