No one, and I mean absolutely no one can argue that removing content that existed for 1/4 of the game is okay.

No Iām not. I wanted the unarmored ones too. But, Blizz said this MONTHS ago. People are reacting to most of these things with extremes and whining like children. Itās just gotten old and frustrating.
Iām just saying if nobody has them and they effectively never exist in Classic then what are you missing out on? I honestly would like to know. Just the chance to level fast and get it before itās taken away so you have a prestige item to show off? I can see that, but still it doesnāt seem to make sense for the devs to purposely create that type of situation.
Because hitting 60 and acquiring 1000g by the 5.5 month mark is leveling fast? Hahahahahahaha

I think the bigger issue is the limited time nature of how they were obtained. that limited time suprise is what would cause people to rush to end game, skipping the story. and getting the retail mind set of go Go GOOO.
instead of enjoying the game they would rush to end game as a result.
so I think IF they changed it to a an always obtainable criteria, maybe with a Classic+ feature. like once classic is out for 2+ years.
would it be a bad thing to add a short achievement list that can be done to obtain a few extra cosmetic things like un-armored mounts? maybe even ānewā mounts that were going to be in the game but got scrapped or pushed back to TBC

I would rather them just add it and keep it in there all vanilla than just have them not have it at all.

Only way Iād be okay with a post release implementation is if it were done through a new quest chain which unlocked the ability to buy the mounts. No achievementsā¦ no in game shopā¦ just a traditional quest chain

That the thing if you are smart you can just buy the actual mount without training, throw in bank and then use it when you get epic mount.
It is not rocket science; just a lot for Blizzardās targeted casual audience to figure out.
Yeah Iād be fine with that. I donāt NOT want them or something. I am just saying it doesnāt make sense for the devs to add something they know they will want to remove and thus create a situation where people will feel forced to try and get the item or feel left out.
It would be a waste of their resources, it would not be responsible, and it would not really mirror Classic anyway as I doubt they (and the players) knew these items would be very time-limited when they were added.
literally something is better than no we do not want anyone to feel insecure about themselves.

And if the conspiracy really is that the mounts were left out because the one guy has the girlfriend and will level slow and didnāt want to feel rushed, maybe the mounts will be put back in after he hits level 60.
But if the mounts werenāt in 1.12 or something like the other person, then requesting them would be tantamount to requesting transmogrification (since itās cosmetic stuff and 1.12 didnāt have it.) Soā¦ hereās to the experience of everyone looking trashy on their trashy mounts and nobody able to look pretty.
The reason Blizz gave really is because theyre wanting to dictate our leveling speed ā¦ but only for these mounts, not for the āserver first 60!ā or āweek 1 rags kill!ā or , idk, just to speed level.
you could no longer purchase these from the vendor after 1.4. you could purchase them from another player, you can still use them if you didnt trade in. players would have been seen riding them on every server throughout the history of the game, so them being completely left out is a disappointment for those of us who remember them and like them for their art, not the rarity.
as a customer paying for a museum why not fight for all the original content to be included? every piece should be important to blizz, too, put the mounts in and leave them in will add up to more gold needed and more sub time paid for if people really want to be mount collectors.
Wow, it is sad seeing adults whining and crying like babies. So entitled and ungrateful. Grow up and get over it, there are plenty of other cool mounts you can work towards. Be a glass is half full person!
