Friend had permissions set. I was in the same party. I oepned upp view houses and click visit house. Nothing happens. They were able to visit me without issues. I tried both as party member and party leader.

Having the same issue here with my wife. She can get in mine, I can’t get in hers. Both of us have permissions set.

So I was able to fix it by updating add ons

I did this and it still didn’t work. It’s like the owner of the home has to be there which is really strange because I can visit my friend’s character and he’s on his warband but he I can go visit him with no problem And that character doesn’t even own the home but the homeowner on mine has to be online which doesn’t make sense because the permissions are exactly the same on both tunes. I checked several times, nothing reset
Same here. Permissions were set correctly, I can’t visit her, but she can visit me. Both Alliance, Alliance neighborhood, different instance neighborhoods but “Visit House” does nothing. Maybe 20-30 seconds later a “permissions denied” pops up. Friends list only, partied up. No bnet

Same. I can access wife’s house (guildie) but she cannot access mine with permissions correctly set.

I’m having the same issue. My friends cannot get into my house unless I’m on as the owner. I have settings set to Anyone and if I’m not online it will not take them inside. Anyone figured out if there is a fix or am I just bugged?
Just now having this issue. I was able to before, especially with friends in game and being Bnet friends with all permissions set to allow everyone.
I’m not sure what changed as I havent added anything new as far as add ons.
While running around with two other people, both Bnet friends we were visiting each others houses, I was the only one who no longer could get into them. We tried partying up as well and I still couldn’t get in - having all needs met, even being party leader.

Ongoing issue, no fix yet? Having this problem as well with one friend only.
Same here, my friends cannot zone into my house unless I am on the character listed as the owner. No clear fix for it as far as I can tell. I have access set to Anyone.

This is still an issue! I made a guild neighborhood for my friends and I, but there’s one whose house neither I or one other member can visit despite the member having permissions set to Anyone!

my alliance monk can’t use any of the portals. can’t even visit my own plots.
Is he a pandaren that hasn’t turned in A New Fate by chance?
it should be cause i have been playing the panda monk for some time. however, you might be onto something. it was originally a horde monk, and season 2 TWW i switched to alliance. and the monk was the one used to purchase the alliance house. i will update my ticket with this info and see if that might be the issue. good idea.
well apparently the quest chain is marked FALSE now since i changed to alliance with in game services. so this might be the issue.
If you’re on any step of that questline as a pandaren then you can’t teleport. It’s a bug I hope they fix.
I’m on the last phase to pick my faction on my alliance character. It can’t ever complete it now.
well my specific reason is i did complete that once when i was horde. but then i changed faction to alliance in season 2 tww. so now it’s marked as FALSE.
i can not go back to the wandering isles todo that quest cause i am level 80.
i have sent so many reports, bug reports, in game, in forums. i have created tickets etc. i keep getting told customer service can’t do anything which is BS they can they just don’t want to. it’s so easy all they do is mark the quest /run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(31450)) as TRUE then it opens everything up.
or i get the canned response “we know of this issue and working on it” yet i don’t see many reports or responses on this specific case.
so Pandas that switched factions or have not picked a faction are SOL.
stuck paying for something we can’t use. so im close to asking for a full refund on the pre order and subscription. just turn it off and give me my money back. then send me a email when its fixed, then i will decide if i want to play again or not.
What’s really messed up is that was a result of someone making a change on PTR to keep pandas from using the house teleporter to get off the Wandering Isle while still being neutral.
Which is actually a complete non-issue.
yeah im sure this is the exact reason it will not let some Pandas use the housing teleport system.
if the quest /run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(31450)) is marked FALSE instead of it Needing to be marked TRUE.
so if they fix the issue by just marking it as TRUE, it will fix this issue and all the other issues with faction stuff.
