The point would mean that the previous functionality is missing, with no documentation as to why it was removed.
I loaded up wow today and it was there. Closed the friends list and the ability to target players disappeared from chat/ friends list
Still having this issue, with no fix in sight. Is there an addon that can fix this while the devs twiddle their thumbs and do nothing, as per usual? 
Still waiting… It’s almost impossible to find people who interact with me in a crowded area. I used to right click player’s names in chat and target them all the time, especially when RPing. There’s isn’t even an add-on that does this either, so I can’t remedy it.

I’m having this issue too. I just assumed they disabled it for Midnight’s man hunt plans… I miss it.
