Unable to log into U.S account from EU

ive been playing since BC and have always bought the U.S versions of each expansion even though i live in the UK so i could play with my U.S friends.
today after whatever update was done i can no longer log into my U.S account via the battle net client - it auto loads an EU client where i have no characters.

my battle net account shows my U.S account as active with game time

I have also come across this issue, It wont let me play retail WoW with my US version but it will let me play classic with the US version I have.

Same, I woke up and quickly tried logging in for the Brewfest boss and had a panic attack until I checked the forums

Same, I have a US account and it’s auto-logging me into the EU where none of my characters are

Ditto, connecting to EU server rather than US.

still broken, it doesnt matter whether i log in from the desktop battle net app or the wow folder retail icon , it just loads a EU starter edition.

  • this now seems to have been fixed , make sure you select the correct edition of the game on the dropdown menu in the bnet app
