I’m experiencing an issue with my Legion Remix character.
My character has already reached level 80 as a Timewalker in the Legion Remix event, but I’m unable to convert it to a standard (retail) World of Warcraft character.
Here’s what happens:
On the character selection screen, the conversion button appears normally.
When I click it, a warning/confirmation popup appears as expected.
However, after I confirm and proceed, nothing happens — the game does not start the conversion, and there is no progress bar, message, or change in status.
I have tried restarting the client, logging out/in, and waiting several hours, but the result is always the same.
I’ve already verified the following points:
The character was created more than 24 hours ago.
I own the most recent expansion (The War Within).
Could you please help me investigate why the conversion process doesn’t complete after confirming the popup?
If possible, I would appreciate your assistance in manually converting this character or providing further troubleshooting steps.
Having the same issue as well. Guessing it’s something to do with character services being messed up today and being taken down, but I’d really like to play my character now (non legion remix playing)

I don’t believe they can manually convert characters, but this is not a means to contact Customer Service to request it, mainly player only discussion on technical support issues, crashes and client issues primarily.
Servers are currently being restarted I think, and character services are down for the short term. I wonder if this is the cause of your issue. Hopefully when services are enabled you will be able to complete the conversions.
I’ve confirmed that the issue still persists even after the server restarts.
When I click the conversion button, the confirmation popup appears, but after I confirm and proceed, nothing happens — no loading, no progress, and no error message.
Given that the conversion UI is visible and the confirmation dialog works, but the process itself doesn’t start or complete, I believe this is more of a technical issue rather than an account restriction or service downtime.
Could you please escalate or report this as a possible technical bug related to the Legion Remix character conversion system?
It seems the client recognizes the interaction but fails to trigger the backend conversion request.
Like you, I am just a player. You can escalate your concerns to Bug Report by editing the post. I can not.
I do not believe character services have been enabled, from a CS update, the restarts were meant to be a part of it, but probably will have to wait until they all complete and development gives the ok.
There’s a button you can click that allows you to convert the character before remix is over. Anyone know if it works? When I click it, nothing happens. Not sure if this is a bug or if it’s been disabled (genuine question/comment - no sarcasm intended).
Same problem here! I sent a ticket and dont get a positive answer. They told me only delete folders, and uninstall curseforge. I did it, but nothing happens! Why this problem still up!
