I am a returning player after a long break and I am trying to do the legion expansion. I don’t have any kind of story quests or class quests to do, making me unable to really continue. I don’t have the ability to even queue for dungeons as it says I don’t have an artifact. What is an artifact and how do I get one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Okay, check your quest log for anything that says artifact, sounds like you started an artifact already and just forgot where you left off.

I dont have any quests that say artifact. I am not even sure what that is.

I have looked there and attempted to follow along on it. It shows that a guy is supposed to give me a quest in Dalaran, I dont have any quests, so where do I go. The website is great when things are working. I seem to have broken it.
You did the quest in Dalaran already.
You need to take the Paladin portal in Dalaran to the Paladin Class hall and do the quest

I am unaware of what a Paladin class hall is. There is no portal in the city where the wowhead link shows.
Are you sure that you’re in the right Dalaran? There are a couple and you need the one that’s in Legion content, not older content.

I am not sure what you mean by the right Dalaran, I am going to the only one I am aware of. Its right next to the zone I am in, Azsuna.
Go to the Light’s Hope in WPL, that’s where the Paladin class hall is.

There are two Dalarans. One in Northrend and one in the Broken Isles. The legion one is in the Broken Isles.

That should be the right zone then, there is also a Dalaran in Northrend, which is why it can cause confusion, as the Class hall portal is only in that location. Not sure where the portal is for alliance though. A guard should be able to point you to the location if you did the quest, otherwise for paladins if you go to Lights Hope Chapel (sp?) it should be in the church.

Another player took me to that Lights Hope. I was unable to enter through a secret trap door. He stated that I had not done the quest for an artifact, so I cant enter.

What quests do you have in your logbook, class hall activities have their own tab I believe.
I currently only have 2 quests in the Azsuna zone, I dont have any quests labeled as class or paladin or artifact.
Do you have the Dalaran Hearthstone? Try taking the portal out of Dalaran, probably back to Stormwind, then Hearth back to Dalaran. Then go to the sewer entrance by the flight path. You may have to turn on low level quest tracking, as it is suppose to pop up at level 98, but the representative should come running up to offering you a quest, unless you already started it and abandoned it at some point.
If nothing else, try submitting a ticket via the Can not find next quest category, just be aware it might be a while before they can get back to you.
I did get the hearthstone from the innkeeper, another player helped me do that. I have been around the whole city for hours looking for any quest to no luck. I submitted a ticket a few days ago and got a response of basically “try looking at wowhead”. They basically didn’t even read the ticket. So I came here looking for any help at all.
Use the need more help option in the ticket reply. Not sure how you worded the ticket but some contacts are being batched together. If a mod is on, they may or may not be able to point you to the right direction, but there are no GM staff here monitoring the forum. I am trying a few quest trackers, but don’t remember the chain for alliance.
I responded that I needed more help, but I for sure am not wording things right. I have not played wow in many years and am so lost when it comes to these quests that I for sure didnt word something right or asked for the wrong thing. Sadly I dont know the right things to ask.
