Is not needed. They do not accept screenshots or videos as proof of anything.
Maybe they can use them to glean a time or chat channel, or even a name. But it’s only to find the data in their own logs.
Right click report is definitely the preferred method. This quick action captures a mountain of data for the GM who will investigate the report, including everything you’re trying to communicate to them yourself, such as how to spell their name.
Not being able to find a name is not broken. You just aren’t successful in whatever you are trying to accomplish.
And what you’re trying to accomplish is not necessary. Blizzard doesn’t want you spending all your time in trying to prepare a “perfect” report.
Same can be said for you. But I am trying to communicate that all of this effort you’re putting into reporting someone is not only well beyond what in needed or required from you as a player, but it’s also extraneous and unnecessary.
If someone needs to be reported, then report it and move on. You don’t need “proof”, you don’t need video, you don’t need to email them constantly about it. Send the information and move on.
