We play from India. We cannot use our cards for a monthly subscription because of certain rules governing international recurring payments here. So we’ve been adding bnet balance and converting it to game time for the last 2 years. However, as of today, when we go to add more balance, the currency displayed is in dollars (even though we’re in India and our accounts’ region is India) and the message we’re being shown is “you must use your local currency to purchase bnet balance.”
I should also add, that other services in game, though displayed in our local currency, are currently being recognized by the blizzard payment system as recurring, and aren’t going through. It appears that any form payment from India seems to be affected. And since this has only just started happening to us, we surmise this is a recent unintentional change on Blizzard’s end.
Some help, please?
I’m having the same issue, except i’m in Canada. Won’t let me add any Bnet Balance, says “You must use your local currency to purchase Battle.net Balance.” . My account is set to my correct region and have never had issues before.

Same issue here. Been going on for a month now. Put tickets in blizz say they are working on it. Shop and transactions should be there top priority. If me and my guildies have this same issue i’d hate to think how widespread it is and how much money they are losing.
