The announcement was coming this week, but you forced the issue.
Well played.

Well played.
Only 14 weeks? those are rookie numbers.
Really? Is there one person somewhere not expecting it mid-January for the last 3 months?
Every raid in wow history has been announced after the end of season pvp warning, and it’s always been release just after.
I think the keyword here is “expecting”
you’re right, expecting is definitely the same thing as knowing when it’ll be
Does it matter? people should have been prepared… only thing we didn’t know was the day of release because there was no reason anymore to do it on a thursday since China is no longer on WOW Classic.
But well, guess we’ll have a weird raiding week again, doing it wednesday would have been better for everybody
I’m totally aware of that, ready doesn’t mean it’s bug free, it means it’s “good enough” to be released which it is.
They’ve been announcing patches like this for years.
Very seldom do we even get a 2 week notice for ANY patch, sometimes even just 1 day.
Never said it means bug free. Said they have released each patch recently with significant bugs there is a massive diff between having bugs and significant bugs. People not getting arena points and it auto converted to honor is a prime example of that.
Uldar on the ptr also has quite significant bugs still going by past examples they are not going to fix them all by release which means no it’s not ready if so by the standard of blizzard at the time of that quote. Blizzard would have never released a version of the game where wintergrasp was so utterly broken like the one we got at the start of classic at the time that quote was made for example. In fact it still to this day has significant bugs that often lock players out of wg even if they themselves won unless they layer hop when meant to have access so long as anyone on your faction won.
Fact is content has been comming out in a non ready state all classic.
No content is not “good enough” for release by blizzards own def at the time of that statement when it has significant bugs.
Funny you call it the magnum opus, meanwhile blizzard is treating this whole release like ‘heres your slop you filthy animals’ as they barely announce it 5 days before release with the most uninspired release post ive ever seen for a video game. Their attitude towards their customers is so ridiculously bad
Also, people cant even handle Wintergrasp siege weapons. They aint getting past the first boss. Its going to be a noob slaughter
highly unlikely they even read your rando thread. As they’re always released the week after arena season ends.
can you guys just sit tight? who cares if it’s 1 week or two?
or how long do you think it’ll be? 4 months or something? new season starts in a few days, raid was on ptr multiple times already, it will start very soon
i dont understand what guilds have to “plan”, or like what is SO AFFECTED by the actual start date. are people booking off work or something?
its the 19th its literally in the launcher news when you launch the game. how much more obvious do you need it to be my god.
For millennia, Ulduar has remained undisturbed by mortals, far away from their concerns and their struggles. Yet since its recent discovery, many have wondered what the structure’s original purpose may have been. Some thought it a city, built to herald the glory of its makers; some thought it a vault containing innumerable treasures, perhaps even relics of the mighty Titans themselves. Such speculations were wrong. Beyond Ulduar’s gates lies no city, no treasure vault, no final answer to the Titan’s mysteries. All that awaits those who dare set foot in Ulduar is a horror even the Titans could not, would not destroy, an evil they merely… contained.
This massive facility was constructed by the Titans to imprison an unspeakable threat to all life on Azeroth. Unearth its mysteries and claim the rewards therein—but try not to lose your mind in the process. Ulduar will open at 3:00 p.m. PST.
This is why your game is dead, but i guess it doesnt matter if single player games like wrath die as there was nobody to play with in the first place lmao
Tbf I attributed it to old blizz
That makes zero sense. Just because no one will play with you (and I suspect that is from your attitude) doesn’t mean everyone has that same experience.
My game is far from dead… Sorry you are unable to figure out what is wrong w/your game.
All these years later it’s still my favorite instance. Massive, unique, challenging and fun. And the “old” Blizzard comment is especially appropriate as it was the last raid to give us Hard Mode for bosses. Then add Algalon into the mix, a boss you couldn’t access unless someone in the group had the key. Also had 4 awesome mounts. Just a truly epic raid.
I’m excited for wrath to be over and never support this company again
Why wait ?
Betas like you who juat sit there and wait to be told what to do are very cringe

Hmm what? That didn’t make any sense. You look pretty mad too.
