i don’t really agree, unholy does well in progression if played right, but if you guys qq enough to get us a ST damage buff im not gonna complain :roll_eyes:

Wow, such knowledge and insight of the DK class from this guy, unfortunately his results don’t match. Please share with us all what is wrong with this log I dug up.

What happened here my DK brother??? A shorter fight lenth than progression, a mythic ilvl (outgearing the content), and playing the “better” spec. Yet, you only pull off barely 13k on a 4 minute Taloc kill???

Maybe you just think unholy is bad because you lack the capacity to understand how to perform its rotation. After all, you can’t even play frost properly. YIKERS!!!

And par for the course, you’re attacking me rather than the argument presented. My Frost log is irrelevant to the points being made about UNHOLY and how it specifically is benefited from short fights. Frost literally doesn’t come into this part of the conversation, and it doesn’t have a comparable 10 minute CD.

Dude look at my parses, i know what im saying, UH ST is trash, you dont even have to look at logs just comparing to other ppl on the raid. Im pulling orange parses and other classes pulling over or pretty close with purple parses. The one good thing about it is if you have to move away from the bosss even with cds up you dont lose much, as frost youre dead last.

i just saw his post, and first thing i did was look at his profile… you beat me to this point. the guy’s 385 in mythic gear, bragging about how easy heroic is and complaining about people who aren’t as geared.

Your argument is that unholy damage is bad, I posted logs showing it is possible for unholy to do well. Yet all you have are your words and no logs/numbers to back them up. Please let me see one of your unholy logs since you are posting in an UNHOLY thread about how terrible UNHOLY damage is. All i see is some pathetic frost parses, which explains your current progression. I know bro mythic fetid is hard amirite!!! HAHAHAHAHA not.

Not sure if serious. The raid has been out 4+ months and you still havn’t cleared Heroic. Just shhhhhhhhhhhh and go back to LFR.

And I countered by pointing out the gearing difference, and how that positively tilts the scales for not just any class, but Unholy in particular due to Army. A mythic geared toon in heroic is not an accurate representation of any spec.

Next time you go dig up logs to make irrelevant personal attacks, make sure you check out the overall data that Warcraftlogs collects on the specs. It’s kinda been common knowledge, and referenced throughout the thread.

The thousands of logs recorded on Warcraftlogs should be enough.

At the end of the day, you post on these forums since you are incapable of actually doing the content. Then you use other players logs since, yet again, you are incapable of clearing the content and getting your own. Claiming unholy is “bad”, meanwhile you’ve never even played the spec. /facepalm

I advise you to re-roll or unsub, if you can’t figure out the Frost DK rotation then every other class will surely be way above your head. Your next guild will be better off, since reclearing M Vectis was too hard for your last one which is why they ceased raiding (prob cause of garbage DK play).

in other words no, you aren’t the bottom dps in your group, so what exactly is your issue? we aren’t Number 1 dps atm? is that the the problem? anytime we aren’t No1 we are broken and trash?

if you are in the top 1% of groups, you are going to be pushing classes to the max, in that condition we aren’t first, however in the other 99% of all other groups, a skilled UHDK can still take first place on the dps chart in a ST fight, so what exactly is the issue with the class? or is your issue with dps your own?

oh noooes. another elitist trying to put someone down. yeah i haven’t cleared heroic yet - i’m in our guild’s casual raid because i’m taking care of my dad that has ALS and can’t commit to set times… yet i still managed to grind out a 376 ilvl and put up mostly purple and orange warcraft logs with casuals. what’s your excuse?

compared to other classes with the same ilvl, our aoe’s fine, but we definitely need a ST buff.

If they really want to help they should just nerf NecroStrike to something like 5% and increase base dps of other skills. That way It will be more dps for PVE and for PVP it won’t really change nothing since NS will be nerf but basic dps increased. (sorry for my English not native :confused: )

pvp and pve already have separate stats and numbers. a nerf or buff to our pvp talents has zero impact or meaning on pve.

also, thats not how necrostrike works, you can’t just nerf the absorb and up our damage elsewhere to balance it out.
