It’s obviously not the version of the game that you want to play so why exactly are you here? It’s just mind-boggling. I don’t get it. I don’t want to get it. I just want people who want ezmode, coast-through-everything, gold-buyers, MUH PARSES!, and boosting enjoyers to go play anything else and leave Classic to what it was supposed to be.

Classic WoW Players: We don’t play Retail because we don’t like how streamlined and simplified it has become. The journey and shared suffering is part of the experience.

They’re retail tourists trying to rush through everything as fast as possible.
I don’t know if I agree with that, but I do think it shows an underlying hypocrisy in a lot of Classic players.
If Blizzard announced tomorrow they are scrapping the Key of Ascension to UBRS, players would have a meltdown. But if there is an exploit that allows players to circumvent the Key, those same players would be happy to quietly use it.
It’s the same as people rolling on PVP servers and then complaining about any wPVP.
They think they’re PVP players but they’re really PVE players on a PVP server.
Not to be dismissive, but… duh. The WoW playerbase isn’t a monolith, even among it’s niche subsets.
Some people enjoy the tedium of meaningless busywork, others find it obnoxious. Just like some are #nochanges while others want QoL features like dual spec.

If Blizzard announced they were removing the Seal of Ascension from the game, I would be thrilled. I would also be drinking deep of the tears of idiots like OP who would be losing their minds.
You don’t seem to understand this is about the exploit not the fact that people are getting into UBRS.
The only consequence of the exploit is people are getting into UBRS, so yeah, it is that you’re mad about people getting into the instance.
I never said it was. My point was more about the hypocrisy of players, many of who shirk attempts to add QoL enhancements but gladly exploit bugs such as this.
You’re entitled to your opinion on that. However, it doesn’t change the fact that this is currently an exploit. If Blizzard didn’t want an attunement process to UBRS - as obnoxious as it is - they wouldn’t have added one.
