Tyrande's Villainous Voiceovers! Spoilers Ahead!

Gah, I hope we can put the tired ol faction war behind us… or anything putting another spotlight on inter faction turmoil. Garrosh 3.0 alliance style doesn’t make it any better. Lol

And the arthas reference does sound about right tho.

who can blame her? I would make another thread entirely for this but for some reason I cant but I think anduin needs to get exiled from at least stormwind for not helping out the night elves when he did. Dude just needs to go. I cant blame tyrande at all for being mad at anduin as well.

I hope the night elves actually like this.

Remember, Blizzard decided to turn them into tree hugging cowards in WoW over time. Originally they would cut you in half and use the top half of your body as puppet while all your friends watched in horror if you so much as pushed against one of their trees slightly too hard. Hell, looking at them may get you killed.

There’s no reason they wouldn’t WANT to follow Tyrande in her horrible kill lust. They should mostly feel the same.

Horde committed the genocide, Anduin excused the genocide, Elune was no where to be seen to do her ‘calm the war’ deus ex machina rubbish the lore says she does, and humans facilitated the failure by way of the Alliance asking the night elves to leave their lands unguarded to go to Silithus instead of sending a boat from Stormwind to do it themselves. A middle finger for the Horde, Anduin and Elune are all 100% justified, humanity not so much but ‘not wanting to tarry in this city of men’ isn’t exactly hate for them

I think exiling him is a bit much. But he’s just too nice for war and Sylvanas knew it. The other alliance leaders should have forced him to just sit on his throne and shut up while the adults dealt with the horde.

The Horde conquered Darnassus with the goal of avoiding bloodshed and securing the Horde’s safety from Genn Greymane’s influence on King Anduin’s ear, because Greymane tried to murder the Horde Warchief and suffered 0 repercussion for his actions, which means the Alliance allowed it.

That’s what they were told. That was the plan Saurfang made.

Sylvanas changed it last minute to burn the tree. The rest of the Horde can’t be blamed for what Sylvanas decided to do on her own;

With Sylvanas out of the Horde, there’s no reason to witch hunt the Horde. She was the one responsible for the bads.

Just imagine if Sylvanas had all the Azerite from the wound itself though.

Burning the tree would be the least of anyone’s worries. She’d probably had the power to kill everyone on the planet.

Am I the only one who wishes WoW had more charismatic buddy villains?

The good ol helps us, until its time to betray us, but no hard feelings type of villain.

Rather than more rehashed “I’m angry! I hate you! Ahh!” villains.

yes they can, they slaughtered their way through Ashenvale and Darkshore before gleefully following the order and fanning the flames to destroy Teldrassil with most of its population still present. They are responsible and need to suffer for it. not walk away STILL holding the lands they defiled, STILL keeping their military and ability to wage war, STILL having no punishment placed upon them for what they did.

Anduin had no business making a peace without so much as a single punitive measure. He’s a selfish, naive, sniveling little rat and I will be a good day when someone finally runs him through. I don’t really care who as long as he’s dead.

Maybe she should’ve started with Stormwind then.

Has always been a terrorist faction, anger justified.

Deluded with the ideals of peace instead of mobilizing for war, anger justified.

idk

probably because anduin is a terrible military leader

I LOVE IT! Let’s do this, Tyrande! I stand with you!

The night elves should just leave Stormwind and Alliance!

WE WILL HAVE JUSTICE!

Tyrande: There will be no peace while Sylvanas still lives.
Anduin: Um isn’t she already dead?
/e Tyrrande back hands Anduin with such force as to shatter his bubble.
Genn: you dare attack the High King!?!?
/e Tyrrrande hits Genn with a rolled up news paper.
Baine: Please have mercy, Sylvanas has fled to the Shadow Lands where no living being may follow her.
Tyrrrrande: Then you will all follow her there DEAD!
/e Tyrrrrrande: summon the moon and kills everyone on Azeroth.

No? Sylvanas burned Teldrassil alone?

Pretty much, yeah.

The plan was to invade Teldrassil and take Darnassus, without harming the general population.

This way, the Alliance wouldn’t be able to use Darnassus to ship Azerite to Stormwind and the Horde would be safe from Genn Greymane. The Alliance wouldn’t risk an attack to take Darnassus back because the population of the city could get hurt.

That was the plan, made by Saurfang, agreed by Sylvanas and ordered to the Horde. The objective was to secure the Horde’s survival while minimizing casualties.

Then at the very end Sylvanas changed the plan and set the tree on fire. She deviated from the plan on her own.

She put fire in the tree alone? she used the catapults alone? i saw some orcs doing this for her. In astranaar we saw a lot of civilians killed by forsaken.

Yeah, Sylvanas had goons. I killed most of them doing Horde Quests.

The Horde had instructions not to kill civilians, but a Blood Elf Rogue named Lorash had a Garithos-like grudge against the Night Elves for banishing the High Elves to Quel’thalas where his family and friends were slaughtered by the Amani and the Scourge. So he and his friends went Rogue on the people there.

That got him killed. Then raised as an Undead Elf who was eager for a second chance to kill Night Elves.

The val’kyr hardly had to even offer before I was back on my feet. What else did you expect?

<Lorash considers for a moment.>

I do hope I’ll get another chance to cut off Malfurion’s head. See how HE likes it.

I imagine he’s a Sylvanas loyalist now.

They participated in the burning. sylvanas may have given the orders, but the horde were the ones with the weapons in their hands that chose to follow without question.

Anduin is a niave child that only calls for peace when it suits him. he is unfit to control the forces of the races of the alliance. he let the night elves down… twice. he signed a peace treaty and loaned his army to his previous enemies, while tyrande and her people suffered, and struggled to fend off the very people that anduin is now helping.

a protector of the night elves for eons… and guardian who never showed up to help them.

a race of naive, impatient, brutal, selfish, greedy, fickle, short lived people that have benefited from the night elves for long enough… a people who were supposed to be there for their allies in their darkest hours… but weren’t. they are a young race… powerful, yes… but young and reckless. it is not hate… but a trust that has been broken, and sight of their unreadiness that has been made clear

  • Wicked for wanting revenge against those who burned alive thousands of inosense people. Mmm, well, you know, I’ll be evil too if they let me.

  • If it is evil not to forgive without more I am evil.

  • If it is evil not to trust those who have tried to end the yours not once but twice in less than 5 years I am evil.

  • If we are going to play villain, at least we burn the hordes alive. That everything they love fades before their eyes.

TeamTyrande

If you have to die you have to take others ahead.

Good points. Anduin really should have helped the night elves. Alliance defenses were holding even though the horde had the advantage at that point in time. He could have dispatched several brigade to ease the siege on Tyrande and her people. I know the story was made to be what it was so Tyrande and the NE would move this way but yea does not make sense for anduin to totally not send decent help
