Well yeah…900+ night elve civilians in Tendrassil were killed and some of them raised to become forsaken undead. She has the right to be.
Too bad she’s losing that power in Ardenweald in order to be saved. If she was able to keep that power with no risk, she would be able to fight off the eventual void lords easily.
I feel like after so manys characters gained genuine prominence in the community like Sylvanas and Flynn and Wrathion, trying to force “Tryandddduuuhhh” into a “popular with the WoW community” role even though she didn’t really earn it naturally is kind of…sad.
Quite a fall from the WC3 Tyrande to whatever she is supposed to be right now…villain? Illidan 2.0? I don’t know, tune into 9.2 to find out.

In all fairness, she was one of the strongest NPCs even before the Nightwarrior ritual (maybe Jaina and Velen were stronger?), having her toned down is probably a good thing, if she stayed at Night warrior power she’d be way too strong compared to every other faction leader.
Have we ever actually seen Velen fight tho using his serious powers? He followed us on a quest in Argus and just…hit stuff. And in the Kruul fight for tanks, he used mediocre healing and some light magic. I don’t think we’ve ever truly seen hima t full power unless he fights with full power raid boss style if you fight him as horde? I never tried.
We don’t really know just how powerful he is, the biggest feat that comes to mind is his demon exploding barrier he created during one of the legion quests. But he is on the same level as Archimonde and Kil’jaeden, the three of them ruled the Draenei, so… he’s no joke for sure.
He made a dome of light that incinerated the demons coming in. He cleaned the sunwell too. Other than that his too OP so his a joke like Malfurion

If her Night Warrior power gets too strong she might be able to go toe to toe with an Orc peon. That’d be scary.

I’m wondering where all this overwhelming hatred will lead her. Imagine if she didn’t get to kill Sylvanas. Imagine if keeping Sylvanas alive was necessary for the future of Azeroth (I’m just spitballing here). If she found herself in a situation where she had to give up her need for revenge for the good of all her people and her world, how would she handle that?
They will go the Illidan route and lock her up for 10000 years.

I have to wonder if Nathanos isn’t in for a little surprise of his own. If Sylvanas wanted him in SLs with her, she could have sent someone to bring him there. I mean we just witnessed her spend forces thru the veil to kidnap faction leaders but he had to die to cross over?!? He was clearly not on her good side lately, with all of his recent failures and she now has far more powerful allies.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he is left to rot and later escapes to seek revenge.
Na, that’s probably just guilt. You know. For aiding in the attempted extermination of her people?
