Tyrande isn't crazy

Wot?
Yeah, same advice, WC3 will be released soon, give it a shot. You’ll learn a few things.

it’s not a base animal instinct to want to be left alone. It’s not a base animal instinct to understand ‘don’t tread on me’ in fact it’s a bloody metaphor for the American system of governance as intended by the founders. Additionally when all forms of diplomacy have failed, it is just to take up the sword. Expecting your enemies to simply get bored of beating you into the dirt will not get anything done. That Gandhi rubbish is just that, rubbish.

Elves in general tend to go crazy, true fact, with so many years to live, they have a higher chance of becoming a bad guy/girl

because you either die a hero, or live long enough to be a villain!

you’re forgetting that the kaldorei are proud of their past history of destroying races that oppose them.

she has every right to be angry yes, but sylvanas had every reason to distrust the “peaceful” nature of such a people

either way it’s hypocritical, the kaldorei as a whole were fine with exterminating others…until that knife was in their gut

I agree. The writers need to expand upon this. Have her go on a vengeful rampage hellbent on revenge for her fallen comrades. Anduin and the Horde then ally to kill her at the end.

WC3R is being updated to match current canon more closely. Expect to see Sylvanas as dumb and callous as she was back then, on top of how dumb and callous she is now.

Remember when she taunted Arthas by telling him exactly how to bring down the barrier to Quel’thalas? Remember when she wanted to draw out his death to make him suffer, giving Kel’thuzad enough time to rescue him and get him to the Frozen Throne?

Thing about Tyrande is that depending on which race perspective you look at it from - she already was a pretty nasty villain. Orcs and trolls immediately come to mind.

I don’t think she needs to become a raid boss in the same way they did garrosh, Jaina and I guess sylvannas in the future. It’s ok to just have a crazy leader sometimes. Not everyone needs to be a good guy lol

Frankly I think crazy leaders spice things up! I mean look at the fat goblin leader! That guy is nuts! Nobody feels threatened by him tho! He’s a fat goblin!

This is why a quick and painless kill is best option!

people think we are showing mercy, maybe, but it’s also so no one gets freed like how sylvanas let arthas got freed!

You say this, yet you also say this.

You decry the very diplomacy that is happening. The position of Warchief is being dissolved, it’s being replaced by a council sympathetic to peace, yet you howl for the dogs of war. I don’t even think you believe in diplomacy, you reject it even as change is on the horizon.

You want only one thing, blood. Emotionally driven rage filled desire for blood. I think you are more similar to Sylvanas than you care to admit.

Remember, tactical genius.

is an oxymoron.

A rational being would see the greater peace achieved.

Vengeance, is far from rational.

And if anyone is to hold a grudge against the horde, Anduin and Jaina would be ahead of the line, with the destruction of Stormwind and the near-complete conquest of Lordaeron, from the first and second war respectively.

This here is the problem, blind passioned raging anger is only believable for a few days after an event.

Real people can’t relate to a person being a seething fireball of anger all day every day, not to mention you have an escalation problem (if your character is already screaming with rage… how can you make them look more angry?)

Maintaining that emotion would drain anyone and I would think rage would subside into smoldering anger at least. They need to bring her down from 11 to more of a 4 until she gets close to sylvanas then they can bring her back up as old wounds reopen. Unless she is insane there is no other way she could maintain the emotional energy needed to be psychotically angry all day every day.

Yeah id be pissed too. But she has also participated in a dark ritual to gain the power of a god for the sole purpose of killing. Thats a lil kookoo.

Also. Welcome to the horde storytelling youve been begging for. Where your leaders go crazy and the reasoning doesnt matter!

sorry, Anduin is in no position to make diplomacy on behalf of the night elves.

the war isn’t over. where is the reparation, where is the ceding of land, austerity ANYTHING that prevents the Horde from being in a position to commit genocide again? There is none. Anduin is one hell of a warchief but he’s garbage for an Alliance leader.

the only change that can happen is the dismantling and occupation of the Horde. since that isn’t happening, it’s just forgiving and forgetting the war crimes thye committed. benefits a horde wretch like you, doens’t do anything for the night elves but make them realise they mean nothing to the Alliance as well as the Horde.

Quite different. Night Elves never did anything to Sylvanas and have endlessly been reacting to Horde aggression. The desire to end the threat the Horde makes once and for all because ‘peace event’ after ‘peace event’ have been failures and jokes is completely different. Sylvanas wants to destroy the living to stave off oblivion. I want the horde neutralised as a threat and this anduin BS isn’t going to do it.

Yeah I Def see where you’re coming from. But they also took her husband to an inch of his life. I’d imagine that trauma in itself would drive some one to the irrational rage you described. (If there was already a heated buildup).

I don’t like how she’s alienating herself and questioning the loyalty of her own goddess though…but nobody except furion will be able to calm her down…and who knows what state of mind he is in right now.

It’s a definite step forward, but the question is if it’s enough, especially without any kind of concessions as a show of good faith. Part of the treaty at the end of MoP was that, in exchange for Azshara(the zone), the Horde would refrain from encroaching on Ashenvale again- a complete withdrawal from Ashenvale and Darkshore would actually do something to show Tyrande and the Kaldorei at large that the wolf isn’t as rabid as she thinks.

No one has been asking for this though.

No one:

Blizzard: let’s make villains out of people’s favorite pc race characters.

no, but by their own statements they’ve destroyed countless others because they didn’t do as their kaldorei overlords commanded them.
even the things they claim to hold dear only get that treatment so long as they bow to the whims of the kaldorei

they earned their treatment, for centuries they held the knife at the throat of any who opposed them.

when you live by the sword…sooner or later you’re going to die by the sword

You mean when Azshara defeated the trolls 11000 years ago?

Ok but the Alliance literally just fought a global war over Teldrassil. Lets not forget that.

Despite Teldrassl, the best decision here is not to murder every orc/troll/elf etc. Just hold her responsible.

…and a few of the head honchos who followed her
