Lets consider something else for a moment, given what you just stated, that the writers hate the Night Elves, because of the Teldrassil massacre, does this mean they hate the Draenei too, the Blood Elves, the Dragons, the Humans, and the Forsaken? Think about it, the Night Elves were by no means the first to get driven to the brink of extinction, or endure the most extreme of atrocities against their species.

Yeah, most species go through it in the lore. Orc, Human, Gnome, Blood Elf, Night Elf, etc. The writers didn’t do it out of hate.
