No, the Nightelves have been seen as excessively Xenophobic than all the other elves. An NPC using your race name or class is merely addressing you by who you are. Some amongst your own race address you as such too. Youâre digressing the focus & prime points on the wrong aspects of that quote. Itâs the fact that she was insulted & rude that you were helping elves associated with magic, in a place she use to call home. She also stated sheâs doesnât care for Thalyssraâs requests or pleas for help â Now before you âcorrectâ me, stating thatâs opion - Perhaps you should open a dictionary to see what the word petitions means. This isnât 'pushing my opinion as a fact. This is, again - Factual â built on evidence from lore, quest & dialog material. Whether you like it, or not. That holds true.

The Highbourne didnât detroy the Night Elf empire. The Night Elves never had an empire when you put it that way: it was the Highbourne empire.
And the hypocritical Night Elves may have banned arcane magic but they went on to use Druidic magic in irresponsible ways, creating the nightmare, corrupted world trees, and the overgrowth in the Barrens.

But it makes sense that the Blood Elves would want to bring in pals. They fit in with the rest of the Horde like a vegan at a steakhouse.
