I dont think its worth it, wait at least a month and they will be up to 300k again (I can’t buy wow tokens in my country either)
they cant control bots so they cant combat inflation either, they’re just making the average player experience worse
Yes, for me, DF is better. But i am enjoying follower dungeons lol

I was disappointed after doing my first dragon race and opening the bag for like 1/5th of the expected reward. Having to sit down and grind just to afford flasks and food buffs is gonna suck once progression starts up.
Just sell mats to the craft goblins.

TWW recycles alot of what systems they used in DF.
The moment I saw ilvl upgrades for gear and that my crafted stuff just became useless I’ve mentally checked out until the next Trading Post update.
They want people to buy tokens. Tokens are free money for blizz.
Sucks that we only have two prof. slots…we need three…or make all gathering secondary profs.
As a gold maker, it really has become a chore with DF and now this.
I’d love to make enough to just buy with tokens.

WoW has never felt more conducive to my play style of hop on for like an hour or two every few days and I’m 100% here for it. It doesn’t feel like a job anymore. I cherish it.
With the portal between Dornagal and the Nerubian’s zone, none of the zones are really far away.
Yeah, it’s dog crap. I’ve now done more quests, delves and dungeons on my alt then my main, yet I’m only 1/4 through 78 with a 5% xp buff. That is a ridiculous waste of time so I logged off and played another game. Turned off auto renew until the final patch when the game becomes remotely fun again.
This is what happens when devs are all diversity hires who care more about validation of their gender cosplay than things like a functioning auction house, class balance or xp math.

Just casually catch up on some TV or YouTube while herbing. Experiment and make some stuff, and then sell it off. Includes trade goods from treasures to sell off, but I don’t sell any herbalism items.
wait til you find out how small an expansion it’ll be, 1 year later, midknight comes out, $70, then the 3rd comes out another year olater at another $70 to see if we’ll pay up
Giving them the benefit of the doubt for now. Open world player myself 90% of the time, that dabbles with some dungeons, and LFR. But yeah, if there is nothing to do in this expansion, other than a couple of wq’s in the zones after the first content patch releases, then this really will be another borelords of drano expansion/ Wod2.0. Not a gold farmer so not much I can say on that. As long as I have enough for repairs, and to buy some occasional buff food, don’t really use gold for anything.
To be fair, I agree with the OP. not everyone is super rich in the game that can play the AH easily buying 20k items and re-sell for higher price.
BFA used to give 4500g every 3days or something . was good thing. DF was fine with the Racing quests… But currently there is nothing much in the World. unless you farm Professions.
So far id tend to agree.
The time gating alone this time around leaves me already questioning my subscription.
On top of that i just don’t really like the world design. Too shadowlandsy - where the zones are not properly connected (the whole underground thing is strange) .
And the dungeons. Theres not a single one i actually like. Luckily there isnt any as bad as ToP. But they arent good.
And yeah. Gold is scarce. Things you used to focus early on for gold in an expansion do not matter. Darkmoon cards? The heck happened there?
