TWW Holy Paladin tree redesign

Well spenders were just buffed…doesn’t really address the button bloat, weak CDs and mana consumption issues much though.

Well I’ll be Lightdamned. They buffed the spenders.

15% on WoG and 20% on LoD. They might actually be usable now.

EDIT: Well, will be able to see on Tuesday.

Thank God. Finally some changes.

Nope, but it’s been 2 seasons without positive/significant changes. It’s something I guess.

The change though amounts for about a 2% healing buff overall.

Which is funny in a way.

A 2% increase is not a whole lot, but if it makes casting a non-double Dawn buffed WoG worth it, it again may make the spenders useful again may open the door to melee healing again…kinda.

I think we may need a little more for them to actually be worth it again. May be wrong though, but disparity between those spells and other classes equivalents is probably still significant enough.

Still, they finally address one of the core issues in some capacity at least!

I wonder if we’ll be keeping the WoG buff from that alpha build last month

I hate holy light, the cast time and the speed at which DMG flys out will make it almost never worth it to cast.

For example, with a full health group, if you cast beacon of virtue AFTER the crystals spawn on the last boss of vault, then a divine toll, it’s possible people could style die.
Not likely if you group is capable, but still. Two gcs, is two seconds roughly, the same cast time of a holy light.

Holy light is only useful if you precast or maybe if the damage isn’t constant.
Id only cast holy light of its base amount was half a health bar, the cast time is just too obnoxious,

Not to mention, in raid, you WILL be snipped if you sit there on a single target 2 second cast

I feel like a lot of people forget that PvP exists, the proposed changes remove so many key abilities that are either good, have been good, or need buffed to be relevant in PvP.

I agree that the tree has a bunch of talents are that are 100% useless in both PvE and PvP and it needs changes, needs buffed Pvp Talents also but I can’t even begin to pick apart OPs tree.

Try making your own

Yeah I admit that I don’t pvp, however, I think that talents that exist on a spec tree purely for pvp is bad. If there’s no talents that a pvp focused player wants to take, that’s also the same problem - just in reverse.

If I’ve removed pvp talents that you think you wouldn’t want to spend that point somewhere else, then there are two options. Bring them back, or rework talents in that area so they are more appealing to both pvp and pve.

At the end of the day the spec tree should work for all. PvP talents and pvp tuning exist to fill / fix any gaps.

The buff to the HoPo spenders for Tuesday needed to closer to 40-50% for them to be outright better than infusion FoL casts.

Without dawn stacks / consc. buff / and Crit, FoL will still offer more HPS throughput currently. All this did was make the build that avoids using holy power basically entirely less competitive.

Agreed. We are just getting WoG close to pre-nerfs numbers from S2 ( Comparatively speaking), but let’s not forget every healer got a 30%-40% buff for their spot healing spells in S3, excluding WoG, and including our casts.

That’s why the disparity is still so big.

Not only did they ignore this, they made us worse for TWW. I Officially believe all teams currently at blizz need to be replaced.
