True story.
And here we have the player who thinks WoD was peak.
Dragonflight sucked so bad and it was a great expansion for people that hate and/or don’t understand the point of MMORPGs.
WoD certainly wasn’t peak. Dragonflight was certainly the valley.
This person gets it. If people were timing mythic track vault 10s on week 1, the forums would be awash with complaints that the season is boring and there’s nothing to do just like OP is complaining about delves.
Raiding is endgame. the other things you listed are just levelcap activities.
I thought it was a good expansion Better than Legion and WOTLK, at least.
We have delves and open world content
oh boy now you did it.
I 100% agree. Its why i chose to end my sub weeks in TWW. The classes are fun but the balance is so bad… M+ is beyond a joke. Raiding requires 3 month waitlist to even get into a decent group.
M+ you cant join and decent groups. If you try to make a group good luck… 1 hour of waiting for a tank and healer just to have it fall apart by first boss.
Like blizzard something has to change if you want this to be a group game.
I understand just fine. You said its insulting. Who actually gets insulted over a silly video game? Its a simple question.
Everyone gets hard stuck eventually
Sounds like you just don’t like the game, time to find something else.
I think TWW has been fun so far.
it has been fun when you actually get to do content. When you spend hour+ trying to make M+ group just to have it fall apart at first boss… well i spent more time in city then actually getting to play.
Its way less fun when you have someone troll your 10 key and instant leave cause someone died. the same key you spent hour+ making.
When i came back to the game i tried to join a mythic raid team… i got told well you should looked 3 months ago…
I mean, these are all player based issues… you can’t force people to take you, too many DPS and they’re unwilling to change their role and yea, sadly a lot of people are just garbage leaving after something that small.
you say this but blizzard has control over how they tune and balance thus encouraging other roles. They chose to ignore all tank and healer feedback in beta. They also chose to ignore nearly all M+ feedback… still are…
So why would a healer or tank want to play this expansion when healing is still riddled with one shots. While i think tanks are mostly fine… the perception is quite negative from general player base. However it is quite amazing how many tanks this season ive seen just instant die… which makes me think there still too much power in cooldowns vs’s base defenses.
They were more interested in launching delves which has become useless content. They didnt want to prune and balance incoming damage to player kits. So yeah alot people chose to not return to those roles.
its definitely not all play base issues. Blizzard definitely has a hand in the perception of the players and the balance.
Don’t change the fact that it’s a player based issue, they can take you but they choose meta because they’re slaves to the idea of maximum efficiency. Meta exists in EVERY single game that has any type of competitive kick to it.
Some players like that kind of tension, some just play it because it’s what they’ve always done and others are just adapting. I like games with a challenge, I’d prefer to be a healer, but tanks are in an extreme demand and I’m only tanking for friends.
So, I stand by it being 100% a player issue first and foremost.
And the player has control whether or not to participate in the content. There’s more to the game than just M+.
Disagree. You’re not the only person they’re making this game for.
I agree, I play meta too. Sadly again a blizzard problem. Why do i want a hunter with 10 year kick when i can have shaman or dk.
Blizzard has ability to tune and balance classes and improve player perception. Instead they launched half classes as near unplayable. Some still are… resto druid…
If the role balance was better we wouldnt feel it was such an extreme… I searched 10 keys today. There was a total of 2 listed. I put mine up had 50+ applicants. mostly dps.
The M+ state is definitely not in a healthy state right now compared to dragonflight.
Well, that is where we will continue to disagree. I see this as strictly a player issue.
