Your guild leader is an absolute moron. Blizzard has not done much balancing in beta yet. That comes later after the class design is more set in stone.

There is zero reason to bench a prot pally at the moment. They still have all the utility they had before, they are still durable and strong, it makes no sense.
Yes lightsmith is⌠odd but Templar is kicking it.
The only tank or tanks I see struggling at the moment are monks in mythic dungeons (still fine in raids), and warriors in⌠everything
Thereâs no âprobablyâ about it.

Unless youâre raiding mythic level raiding it doesnât matter. Prot Paladin is perfectly fine for heroic.

The content where it matters I tend to find the majority of the tanks have all 4 classes at max.
Like our DH tank has a DK and Druid alt
And our prot pal has a DK and DH alt.
This gameplay loop is pure suffering under the current crest/flightstone m+ grindathon. I often still try to run 3-4 characters with role redundancy (atm pal druid monk all as tank/heal) but itâs exhausting lol.
Well I will say the tanks in my guild do not maintain all 4. They will level all 4 to max and then depending on the roster go from there.

Most people in guild tend to have two characters geared.
Example being me being a warlock main but we ended up having 4 warlocks so Iâm playing more hunter recently

Makes sense, its mostly just extra lame during a season 4. They really should hace skipped it since they were dropping cata classic, mop remix, and whatever number sod flavor theyâve pooped out this time⌠Not to mention theyâre sprinting to rush out tww and itâs looking ridiculously undercooked.

No and the people who play like that and ruin the fun for everyone, especially when playing something that isnât meta doesnât actually hinder your ability to raid, should stop living in delulu land. I spent so much time min maxing and giving a crap and it made the game an absolute headache. I remember M Remnant and watching as our same freaking druid kept getting us killed and just thought⌠playing like this is an ego trip, and not fun at all. Itâs insanely stressful⌠Iâm done. When WoW feels like a second job is when itâs time to back out.
