Two days until Mechagnomes

You’re not alone, quite a few people, myself included are done being Alliance from this point on.

Boy o boy she is so fugly it looks like Rosie Odonnell stuffed in some aluminum foil reading for the part of Tik-Tok… did I say ugly?

Why not add similar armor as drops from the Mechagon dungeon - which would have made it acquirable by all races, and the dungeon relevant even as old content due to having exclusive appearance loot like Zul’aman and Zul’gurub -, and postponing the prosthetics as Shadowlands customization options?

We would get cyber armor, you would get your prosthetic gnomes, and maybe the Alliance would get something more unique as a race.

Or maybe just water gnomes.

You have my sympathy. You can’t help being so defective.

What other race would the gnomes get as their AR counterpart?

You can argue the exact same for pretty much every allied race apart from KT and Vulpera.

I have said it before but I think they would gotten a better reaction if the mechagnomes were paired up with another reskinned race rather than a brand new race.

mechagnomes might be the best allied race tbh. i really love kt too. but darn do mechagnomes look amazing.

I have been saying this for months. Creating a subrace of gnomes, giving them their own zone and dungeon as the secondary focus of a major patch, then reducing them to cosmetic options for an existing race is just backwards logic.

No such thing. All of the other allied races were related to a core race, and gnomes didn’t have one, so they got one while goblins got a new race that they share a rig with (because the only alternative had outdated Cataclysm-era models). If mechagnomes don’t have broad appeal on the level of void elves, oh well.

Mechagnomes at least have unique animations from their parent race and models with differences beyond skin and hair, unlike half of the other allied races, yet for every hundred posts I’ve seen bashing them for being lazy, I’ve seen one saying the same for Lightforged or Highmountain.

meh ill take mechagnome over furries anyday

Everyone already had access to gnomes. I do not understand why not roll a gnome? Gnomes are the best race in WoW. Mechagnomes are a bastardize gnome in transmog.

Vulpera are reskinned goblins in a sense, even though the races have nothing to do with each other. At least mechagnomes do sport some unique animations.

i think blizz missed out on giving horde mechagnomes and alliance vulpera because that’s what most of us seem to want. i know most alliance aren’t excited about mechagnomes but horde are. and honestly i could take or leave vulpera.

Let me guess, the “unique” race you’d endorse would be High Elves, right?

Yes, actually.

It’s not even close to being fair. Blizzard and the people defending the Junkgnomes know that they’re not going to be played much, lol. Easily going to be the least played race in the entire game.

the only elf i really like is nightborne. i don’t like belves or nelves or velves really. i don’t like the /twirl they do.

We don’t care about how many will play them.

There is no AR equivalent for the undead and worgen yet, and I reckon there never will be. The skeleton of worgen and undead is used in other species, however, such as Saurok and the mindflayers from BFA. Gnomes were the only race of which the skeleton was only used by… gnomes.

Even pygmy would have been more interesting.

In truth, I am in favor of the “pruning” Ion talks about so much being less about class abilities and more about elves. We have too many of them.

then the alliance would be the faction with both the most popular allied race and the least popular allied race.
Evens itself out a bit there don’t ya think?
