I have it up in two windows, one for each of my accounts. I usually have one window muted and one with low audio, so that I don’t get echoing sound. One time it was a problem and the muted window wasn’t making any progress until I unmuted that instance also. Other times it’s been fine.
Today, my unmuted window so far is at 8%. My muted window is at 0%.
It seems to have different criteria on different days, which is…fun.
Weird. But then again, the whole thing is basically janky anyway.

Not what I meant. As of the time of that response Twitch wasn’t showing it in my drop loot to earn or anything.

Well, it seems to be finicky. I’d still suggest not muting the stream itself, just in case. Glad it worked for you, though. 
mute stream has always worked on any twitch drop from any game for me
muting works just fine i had mine muted and playing minimized while i was at work came home to it being 100%
I just hope that I actually receive the mount.
I completed the requirement yesterday and confirmed my bnet is linked, etc. but it still hasn’t shown up. I had the same thing happen with the Blazing Hippogryph and never got it.

I still dont see my blazing hippogryph OR my white camel. Neither one has shown up but yet other items like the tabards of brilliance and tabard of fury have…
