You can also mute the tab in the browser not on the stream on twitch and it will work fine.

My thoughts exactly. Now if they were giving out some detailed weapons or armor Id be there Everytime. I think the last item they dropped was a sweatsuit

It works. You have to leave the volume in the twitch video window on. Then go to the tab itself in your browser and mute the whole tab. That way it is playing, but you wonāt hear it.
I just have never linked my Twitch that I almost never use, to Bnet. Not sure a murloc will make me do that or not.

Yep there is always those that cry they want the item but unwilling to just load up Twitch in the background and mute their Web Browser tab and get free itemsā¦like those horrible cutie Murloc nowā¦or in the past ā¦mount and battle pets given out free just for muting a web browser tab for a few hours and just keep an eye on it.
Then there is ones that just scream I hate Twitch and free stuff given away to the player base and think its unfair nowā¦never can understand those ones either.
Oh and on issue of those that donāt like twitch cause of adsā¦guess what use the right web browser with a ad block ext like Firefox and Ghosty ad blocker you wonāt see ads in Twitch at all.

Iām pretty paranoid, but I did it last year, maybe earlierā¦and no cyber ninjas showed up, I was expecting shenanigans tbh, but nothing.
I havenāt even done the intro housing quest, but even Iām gonna grab this murloc, also I just heard about outside lighting and my ears pricked up a little. Iām warming up to it I guess.

The only time I go to Twitch is for these drops. Not really interested in the content otherwise. The link is OAuth so Twitch never sees your credentials or actual BattleNet information. They just get an authorization token that you can revoke at any time.

yeah, this works just fine. they do some checking (if youāre in six channels, for example, you might not get credit in any of them even if youāre an active chatter) but itās not that crazy. muting the tab (not the video control itself) works perfectly.

As a certified Old, I never use Twitch either except for these promotions and because I wanted to subscribe to one (1) youtuber who was branching out that I support. Itās so bad that even though I set it to remember me, they have to send me a verification email every time I log in because itās such a long time between visits.
