…even if some items can be purchased from the AH, it doesn’t mean there’s always lots in stock, or any at all.

The good items will always be in demand, and sell quickly.
The ones which don’t sell quickly, are overpriced.

regardless… unless things have changed a LOT, you really can’t buy the best gear from the AH.

You win, making a toon at level 19 (for example) with max gear and enchants, then rolling in a BG where you go up against people with less gear than you is fun! If the game allows it and it makes you feel “pro” knock yourself out.

Yup, it helps the economy a lot. Especially new players. I remember coming across multiple twink items as a new player and it helped me a ton.

I don’t think it makes me pro and I don’t pretend it does. I do it to see how much damage, kbs, etc. I can rack up in the time of a BG. That’s what most twinks do.

If other people don’t enjoy it, they can join the crowd like I suggested. You don’t have to have best in slot gear to be competitive in BGs.

So buy BIS AH gear? You don’t even have to have BIS gear to be competitive enough to win. Especially if you all are 2600 rated players like you said, your skill should push you way past what any gear does for you.

If you want to play competitive actually get good at the game and do rated arenas or BGs at level 120, dont be pathetic and gear up to kill level 19s that is just plain sad that’s all that is.

100k? LOL I made a 29 twink for under 5k. Didn’t have best in slot gear, but didn’t need best of the best to be able to be competitive against other twinks in the bracket.

You just have to play smarter. Find out who the twinks are and use CC on them, etc. a lot of people complain about “omg OP twinks” but I doubt any of them even use CC or anything to fight them because they’re used to not having to on anyone.

It’s really quite effective. I was in a game where we were winning pretty well, then the enemy team started CCing the stronger players (myself included) and we actually lost because of it.

I feel like I probabaly queued up with my buddies who were 111-119 while I was 110 earlier in the xpac, but you can’t anymore.

Stop saying the word competitive in respect to twinks. There’s nothing competitive about being a twinker and killing players with terrible gear that are just trying to level up. Being a twinker is basically playing a game with cheat codes, I dont even see how you can possibly find it fun, It is just sad and ruins the experience for everyone, so please stop being a twinker.
