I think this is the part where we complain about it claiming that blizzard is only doing it to increase maus or something.

This is why I have two monitors. One for WoW and one for when WoW gets boring.
Its good for getting up from the PC. Opening your front door to look at the sky and breath in fresh air and to shout at any clouds that happen to be floating by.

Imagine thinking that farming rep on alts is a legitimate suggestion for avoiding an annoying flight once per toon twice a year. I don’t get it…

Because it was vague enough to make a google search hard and I don’t know what the trinket is called. I didn’t even know it existed until 27 seconds ago.

No, the vendor is perfect where it is.
The flight does not take long.
And as was pointed out, you can get a trinket that will teleport you to the isle.

Is this trinket super easy to get? If not, how does this help?
It’s very easy to get, all you have to do is get honored with Emperor Shaohao and buy it with Timeless Coins.
Unless I’m missing something, getting honored with a faction on all my alts that I use TW to power level doesn’t seem very easy. Especially for OP who is complaining about a 40 second travel time.

How exactly is killing mobs in an area for an hour or so hard?
Is it time consuming to do it on multiple characters? Sure, but hard hard? no.
Easy was the wrong word. I should have said not efficient. If that trinket saves me 1 minute per use and takes 1 hr to earn, I would have to use it 60 times to break even. I doubt I’ll need to teleport to the timeless isle TW vendor on any character before this game goes away or I’m dead.

This, the trinket is a lifesaver and it’s absolutely worth the grind to get.
As much as I agree that some things can really affect quality of life in game, this isn’t one of them for me. And yes, I’m doing TW on all my Alts to make farming easier and cuz I’m crazy. Lol.
Some of them have the teleport and some don’t so I pop onto the FM and refill my drink and go. Of all the things to complain about, this doesn’t seem that big of a deal.
Now, a skip to SoO Garrosh….that’s a fix we need! 
So to avoid a 5 min flight, I should farm mobs for an hour. Good plan.

It’s considerably worse than any of the others, and it’s pretty unpleasant the 13th time
it’s available at honored but heres why it’s dumb to be on isle anyway:

wrath vendor: in main city

mop vendor: in middle of nowhere

Not particularly easy, no. You’ll need 7500 Timeless Coin, and honored reputation with Emperor Shaohao, to purchase it.
For those that haven’t done very much in Pandaria, and in the Timeless Isle in particular, ‘very easy’ will have a ‘very different’ definition.
