I thought that I would just have 3 cartel chips for this week but now I see this bluepost saying that we should have 4, and the 4th coming through the quest “Turbo-Boost: Infinite Growth”, which is not available to me.
I’ve heard others that they are also not able to pick up this quest.
I also do not have this available to me.
(Yes I did the first one and got my 3 cartel chips (already spent).
The people who got this quest did so because of a bug. The hotfix corrected that, so the normal amount of chips people should have is 3.
The post is also stating that anyone who did these subsequent completions won’t be able to see the quest until the week with which they’d be at “normal” progress. So if someone has 4, they won’t see the quest next week; if someone has 6, they won’t see the quest for three weeks. So even though someone could have potentially done the quest 3 separate times and gotten a second item, I’d imagine the number of people that did that is extremely low, and anyone else who is at 4 or 5 doesn’t really have an “advantage”.
That is not what it is explained in the wowhead post:
The intended amount for this week was 4.
That kinda sounds like Blizzard wrote that in error, because that isn’t how it worked last season. We didn’t get two quests the first week.
I agree, the whole reason why I posted was because of this, I only have 3 in all my characters, some people have 4, many had 6 already too.
Looks like this got added back, hilarious of them to do on the final day of reset.
yep, fixed now. but I guess we can get it done next week too for our 5th coin
