Well we did have some pre maintenance before Lich King went live all realms were down for 24 hrs but only so many were down each week …then following week more realms were down…that is when they upgraded the server farms and graphics big time…we all had to go though that…so many of would make a lvl 1 on a realm that was up when ours was done and play around…

There were a couple IN Lk where we were out 24+ too. Not many but yeah…
Now days the new players have no idea.
The worse one was that patch The Calling of the Crusade …down for 10 hrs then boom down for over 32+ hrs till it was fixed…some folks had to reinstall the game cause the files they download damaged their files…it was crazy for sure.
Lot of older players have forgotten what it was like back in the days …

Nothing to celebrate the old days of WoW like a good old-fashioned long maintenance time. Expect there to be queues too, just to complete the full WoW experience.
Honestly, I would not be surprised to see it be up and running sooner. They have some history of beating expectations for something like this as well.

Yes they have Fortuna and we love it …many don’t remember that though …seems they only remember the bad times and added on hours to the down time…

If that changes then it’s welcome, but better to write it off and be surprised.
