We got new animations in Shadowlands? Or maybe it was BFA. But in any case, as nice as they are, they pale in comparison to the CGI animations.
I imagine my caster toons channeling magic and spells in rituals and looking like this. Especially my trolls and my Tauren Druid. Just wildin’ out for the Earth Mother
I remember very few posters most of the time but there are a few names that stick out. Either through infamy of posting inflammatory posts or they are very active and post on a lot of threads.
I wish I had TL3 but I will be just fine not being able to post images. I had TL3 for awhile, but lost it many months ago from less activity on the forums.
Over a year ago, I reported a post as a real life threat, because the post was talking about driving out to Blizzard HQ to unalive them. I got suspended for it. It took two appeals before someone finally said, “I see where you’re coming from, so I’ll lift the suspension, but it wasn’t that bad.”
I haven’t flagged anything since. Let chaos reign. I’m not losing my TL again. If people want to be hostile and toxic, more power to them. Mods would rather get mad that I made a RL threat flag than actually punish anyone that legitimately deserved it.
I feel you. I only had a 24 hour suspension and after I tried to appeal it, it was lifted after around 16 hours, but I lost a lot of trust in the system.
I don’t have any fear, because what I say is simply my opinion about a silly computer game, and at least most of the time true, even if stated about how other people behave in this game. But because society is pretty bad now, you’re always going to have random people, and their ‘online friends,’ who have an intense urge to ‘report’ every miniscule thing they see and dislike - even if stated in a very generalized way. So if anything, accounts that ‘report’ people significantly more than the average should be looked at for sure and taken down a notch. Other than that, I don’t care much about trust levels these days because the game/community has declined so much it doesn’t really matter anymore.
