Trust Levels need to be reassessed - The death of memes

Lost my TL3 when I did a realm change.
Don’t really care anymore. It is not worth my time to try to get it back.

Better than thinking I’m super clever because “69”.

Sorry, that was probably too sassy. I like your post.

Oh, I’m here for the witty dunks!

You’re good, friend!

We need both. Maybe I’m just missing out on one dumb thing. For as much as I’m on here, this is annoying.

You can post in CS and ask about trust levels, Vrak has been known to give people clarity on how close to meeting the requirements they are (including reminding them of any possible suspensions they might have forgotten bout, not saying this is the case here, but it has been known to happen)

The WoW forum is mostly just trolls trolling each other, a lot of angry players, and a handful of people who are here for actual discussion (like me). Tbh it’s kind of weird to see people take everything to heart here and to see people care about things like post count. lol

I do think they need to reevaluate trust levels, but the trick here is to just not care what anyone labels you. The people going around throwing slander at everyone else are the worst kind of people. We are all better off pretending those people don’t even exist.

Wait… what… why do you even care about some random label?
What exactly do you gain by this?

While there is some trolling, most of the discussion are pretty honest I think. There are very real trolls who do nothing but that, but I do think they could take some measure to silence those folks… and they don’t.

Agree, but the problem is those very vocal people will get you in trouble and they love doing it. It’s unfortunate that you say ANYTHING that doesn’t align with Blizzard’s company ethos that you’re going to flagged. Even worse if you say anything political.

I started getting fewer reported posts once I just started throwing idiots on my ignore list so I can’t even reply to them. I have well over 500 names on the ignore list, at this point.

Can’t get baited by trolls if you aren’t reading them.

Yea, I have a decent amount. Problem is I still see their posts… haha

Even then, those aren’t the ones that gotten me in trouble. Years ago I even called them because of a suspension. Was absolutely bogus. At least then I was able to talk to a real person. The last time I tried to fight it, 3-4 years ago, I was flat out told to not connect them again or they would make the suspension permanent. Crazy. Customer of 25+ years and you’re going to threaten them. Bunch of children. The only other time I have gotten a response like that were mods on Reddit.

You don’t use a space. You use ` on either side of the full link. Then it looks like this:

https://worldofwarcraft.com

You don’t know their actual activity and if it is even close to the requirements for TL3 or if they’ve been suspended and need time to to earn it back.

The part that should be intended is account wide TL3.
(And ignores, but that’s a whole different can of worms.)

No, being flagged does nothing to earning TL3 or keeping it.

If posts or threads are removed, that lowers your post and thread count. But that’s all.

You need to be sanctioned in order to lose TL3 and then you re-earn it in six months.

… I have three. lol

What I would post if I had trust level three again… I’ve got so many dustborn memes baby

What are you even talking about here? If you have someone on ignore in the forums you won’t see their posts unless you click to view hidden content and at that point it is just choosing to look at something you already decided you didn’t want to.

If you have a post-deleted it does not take away trust level 3, you have to actually get a suspension or fall inactive over a few months to lose it and even if you do get suspended, you can eventually earn it back.

You don’t have todo it like that. Lots of people just put a space. Regardless, it’s still odd that you can post a link without actually posting a link. 300iq logic.

Not all activity is hidden. o.o

If someone quotes them, I see their posts. If I change toons, I see their posts.

Or I just flat out see them. Have had this happen a number of times.

Boy I hope I’m on that list.

Also ty for the clarification. I suspected not, that wouldn’t be congruent with how flags are treated.

And the space is obnoxious, annoying and people don’t generally want to copy paste links like that. They bypass them completely, because it’s not worth screwing with spaces or whatever else people do to links, when you can post them fully for copy/paste easiness.

That’s why I offered the tip. It makes everyone’s lives easier and makes the links stand out.

So you’re going through people’s activity feeds and guessing whether or not they’ve been sanctioned and adding up all their stuff? Really?

First world problems.

It’s literally one click to see how active players are. I looked at a few regulars earlier because I was confused why I didn’t have TL3.

Is that a problem?

I don’t have a fear of voicing my opinion about stuff and I can still post things like this:
