Yeah especially when all someone has to do that has it in for you is to get a couple of friends to go along with them and flag your post as “Trolling” or etc to get us suspended; That’s why I think the CM’s said what they did so that people can get reinstated depending on the severity of the suspension.
There is a generic link to the CoC, followed by a "Reason: " field when you get your e-mailed alert. I used to think that field was a pre-defined drop-down that they had to use, but the last one was a humdinger of a personally-worded reason.
If they don’t want people to post poop emoji, perhaps it shouldn’t even be an option.
I would have assumed that anything in the default emoji list would be okay to use, and I’d be pretty pissed if there was action on my account because of something that was sitting in the emoji list, available for use.
I just meant that I have been reading these forums since 2004, when the backgrounds were things like Ashenvale or on the general forums, it was Tirisfal Glades in the banner thing. I just meant my trust level after 15 years should be so high that Vegeta’s trust scouter should explode when he tries to register my trust level. My mind probably went to that old idea because it was thinking back 15 years, but you get the idea.
I get it. But the whole “trust level” is something new since the entire forum software is different. And all it does is open some minor actions that previously a person couldnt even do. Posting pictures (that people rarely do anyways) is really the only thing to miss out on.
Look at this, 93 likes on my old “Make Zandalari Taller” campaign post
by the way everyone, YOU’RE WELCOME! lol I am glad we succeeded and did not wind up playing little mini manlet Zandas. That has to be worthy of trust! But yeah, yeah, it’s the software, yadda yadda.
That’s true, You would think that Blizzard in their ultimate wisdom could see this being that all the character’s on that account are tied together.
However if it were someone with multiple accounts could do it undetectable, that is unless Blizzard took it a step further and saw the same person’s name on the other accounts.
Personally I believe if someone was caught doing this with multiple accounts that they should get a perma-ban from the forums for intently flagging someone, Then maybe just let them have access to read only but allow posting in the customer service section with some type of mark on them letting the CM’s know that they are trouble makers.
Suspensions weren’t carried over from the old forums; Only those in violation of a suspension in the new forums or get 5 marks against them will not get TL3 or lose it if they have it.
