I only know for a fact it’s false. I’ve lived it. I couldn’t post gif again until a couple months ago.
Then it has been changed since these forums have gone live. Bad change imo.
Why? If you behave long enough you get your privileges back. It’s how things should work.

If your account gets suspended in game you should not get privs back. I believe that is how it used to be.

Or more than likely getting soft, in other games once you screw up like that you’re done. Which is how it should be. No second chances.

It used to be that an action against your posting account was per character. Some pernicious trolls took advantage of that pretty hard.
They fixed that fairly recently, with the update that broke the bug where anyone who had beta access at one point had TL3.
Now, if you get a ding it’ll prevent ANY character from having TL3 for six months because the action will apply to your entire Bnet and it flags your character

Got hit by #7 during BfA I think and I’ve never been able to unlock LVL 3 since despite making all the rest of the requirements.
I didnt even know trust levels were a thing. Given the quality of some posts by people with blue, orange, and green text its not something I really care about.
I just speak the truth as I see it and what happens happens.
The forum software trust level system has nothing to do with text color. Not in any way.
