It’s a roll of the dice
It also depends on the day of the week and the server.
For example, a few weeks ago on a Monday I think it was, the Swift Razzashi Raptor spawned on MG, went for 1.5m. That’s pretty cheap for something that rare.
I mean, I’ve even seen the tiger go for under 1m at times.
FALSE, most do not buy the black market boxes, so it will be unattainable to 99% of the playerbase.
Saw the raptor the other day, it was about 750k with Long left. Not sure what it ended up going for.
People buy out mop wb and rare mount for 9mil its pretty much a sure thing thats going to be near gold cap bought.
That’s because that mount is a 1 in 2000 drop from sha.
If I suddenly decided that I wanted the mount, I wouldn’t bid more than 5 million on it simply out of principle.
But the only people who would be buying it for that much would be people who either A) couldn’t get enough money in time, or B) simply weren’t playing at the time.
True. Because those who can afford it who want it already have it. I guarantee you the poor folk isn’t going to take it beyond 5m, or anywhere near it
Starts at 15M on BMAH.
Well, this all assumes that bidding for Long Boi doesn’t start at 5m. I really cannot see it starting at any other price.
Something that currently exists in game for 5m isn’t going to reach gold cap in SL. By SL everyone who wants it that can afford it will have it. Those who struggle to make gold will be what’s left, and they ain’t taking it to cap
maybe if you are willing to wait a few years
There will be only 1 available per server each time it come up. Sure it will reach gold cap.
No, it won’t. At least it would be rare. Like when the decent gold makers who took a break from BfA return, sure. If you couldn’t obtain the 5m gold during the 2.5 years this Mount was available, you’re not gonna take it to cap. The people who aren’t as good at making gold will be what’s left in SL. They’re not taking it to cap.
If you’re the sort of player that has that kind of gold though, just not in time, why wouldn’t you? You get an AH that let’s you inhale gold every time you’re outside.
looks at brutosaur…
looks at gold balance…
looks at katy stampwhistle…
That said if gold rewards for things like emissaries keep going up in Shadowlands, the goldfarming hours needed to get a brutosaur might drop enough to make up for it’s price doubling.
What’ll really make people combust if emissary and paragon gold rewards go back to hundreds of gold like they were in legion. Though I had some guildies turn multi-millionare in legion when they had all the gold-earning items on their bodyguard champion.
There are people who are way better at earning gold than you and me. There are people who took a long break from the game and are back with their multiple characters at gold cap.
I did earn the gold to buy it, and I’m not particularly good at earning gold. It will reach gold cap on most servers.
Yes, but at the same time, the money players already have (or should have) the long boi.
This is true, except for you were never able to BUY the ZG mounts for any gold amount. They were also never a guaranteed drop at any point. They were always a very VERY low drop rate.
Immediately after BfA, assuming there isn’t a huge opening bid, my guess is that they will go for big gold, but not 5mil. Anyone who was willing and able to pay 5mil for them would have just bought them when they were purchasable. I think the price will go up later, after Shadowlands, when people have more money from future expansions.
That’s basically what I said. There are people who are good at making gold that took a break from BfA that may return. If it reaches gold cap, that will be the only reason why. I’m saying, people who CAN easily afford it and are efficient enough gold makers who wanted it bad enough, have it already. I don’t think it’s going to cap anywhere near as often as what you might think.
