Alright mages, I don’t recall there ever being SO MANY trinkets available at one time. I’ve read the guides, but what about Bashful Book? It’s like an arcane dmg tick??? Can this be used to proc something else out there? Is it affected by mastery and Prod Savant? Lookin for combos, and it seems our best “on use” trinket is actually a weapon this time (hasn’t dropped yet for me), so we can stack maybe 2 passive trinks to go with? What’s some good combos?

I don’t think so, despite what it says on Mastery Savant, it’s not all arcane magic, to my understanding it’s only the spells that are safelisted, being spellbook spells. I could be wrong on that, but i remember they had to make adjustments after they changed shifting power to arcane and it still didnt get the bonus.
The weapon is the best but its also a bit tricky as it’s a 45s cooldown, so you’re not going to get your value unless you click it a lot, it’s not something that is easily set in a macro and forgotten about, i think the average player will get better results with a crafted weapon or the weapon with the passive haste bonus.
The Mug’s Moxie Jug is by far the best trinket, even on LFR it’s going to beat out a lot of other trinkets. (passive 1)
Carved Blazikon Wax is a good farmable passive trinket. (passive 2)
Prized Gladiator’s Badge of Ferocity is the easiest one to pickup, as its a guarantee and it only comes on one track and one of the better ones, until you get some myth track gear. (on use 1)
Signet of the Priory is a good farmable trinket. (on use 2 )
The guides are helpful, but are not ideal for an average player, as they are based on mythic track items, The average player will mostly be using crafted gear, vault pickups and farmable trinkets.
Ugh, did they do the same thing as with Spymaster here, where having it or not is required just to be baseline?
Right now I’m like Mythic Dungeons in the 6-7 range and running Delves at 11, I seem to be relatively competitive with the other DPS (granted it’s all PUGs) and still trying to get a helm so I can get 4-piece activated. I’ll maybe start hitting some raid for that Jug…though I hate raids…but that comes back to my question is this thing a “must have” or can I stack a couple strong A+ tier trinkets and still do ok?

If you still have spymaster, it’s still strong. Everyone hates it because if you die, it sucks.
I wouldn’t say it’s on the same level as spy master’s because spymasters was burst, but the jug certainly makes a huge difference in overall dps.
I would suggest doing lfr atleast, you can also get it as personal loot as warbound and the option in the vault. So 3 chances for less than 10 mins.
Yeah, you can use A+ and do just fine. Heroic Suspicious Energy Drink would be just fine with any other decent trinket.
The Mug is pretty nice but nowhere near the level Spymaster was in the previous season.
