As much as I’m excited about the Hardcore servers, I’m still subject to cruddy Aussie internet lol. Disconnected 3 times to lvl 13, but on the 3rd time I died.
Will probably give HC a shot anyway but chances are I’ll just dc and wait til Seasonal servers. Hope they’re not too far away 
I even had my phone on me to try and hotspot in time to not die! Ahaha.
Sorry bud. I wish there was an answer to DC for the HC servers.
I’m not a PC or gaming wiz, but, I would think they could monitor how you die fairly easily.
The appeal process and them able to handle, well now, that is a different story.
I just honestly don’t think they want to spend the resources to do so.

There was no fix for it on D3 and that lasted 11 years. press F click start again
Yeah I don’t expect anything to be done about disconnects cause it opens avenues for plug pulling. Just sucks to be on the end of wanting to play a game mode but not having reliable internet.
Might try again in a while but it’s just such a frustrating experience I need to split it up in different attempts lol.
Play solely demo lock or BM Hunter and don’t group if you cannot improve your internet. You DC’ing is a liability for anyone & everyone you play with, regardless of game mode sadly… even it were non-HC you could be wiping a group if you just randomly DC on pull or mid fight
I mostly play open world anyway, but a regular dungeon group can live with me reconnecting 20 seconds later. I wouldn’t do a HC dungeon regardless of internet stability. The only big issue is if I was relied upon for CC, but there’s very little dungeons where my warlock CC is 100% needed or we wipe, since Banish doesn’t work on the major enemy groups and fear is a bad idea.
I get where you’re coming from but it’s not that dire. I’m not the healer or tank.
Talk to your ISP and find out why you are disconnecting, they should have records.
If it’s ADSL them the first rule is make sure all your phone sockets have microfilters as the first thing plugged in.
Make sure you don’t use wireless to play, if you do then make sure that windows doesn’t turn off the wireless adaptor to save energy.
It could help to find a partner and duo. Just a thought.
Decent idea! Would just need either a late night NA player or an OCE player to meet my schedule.
I haven’t used the HC discord yet. Maybe they have a section for hooking up teams?
Yeah not sure, not a big discord user myself, but I have to imagine they do. Next time I do a run I’ll swoop in to see.
Yeah I don’t have the internet problems you do, but after losing my fully buffed level 20 priest to a disconnect, I have switched to a hunter, currently level 27 and I have tossed everything into making my bear pet a beast of a tank. I plan on even taking spirit bond to give us both 2% health every 5 sec, because during a disconnect, that could be 20% of your health returned while you are logging back in. I have tested the bear on a level 27 mob and he was able to kill it solo, so I feel a bit safer now.
There is one solution… duo. Play as a duo. Always someone there to watch your back. It’s not perfect, but it’s something.
They need time resurrection, you can’t have the same model as D2

or try calling your isp. at one point my internet was going off completely out of nowhere after having the same ISP for many years and living in this house for my entire life. turned out the wire in the wall was faulty ISP came in a few days changed it out in like an hour and was working fine.
Hunter is the solution to disconnects. Put everything in beast, even 2/2 spirit bond. Tame a bear, keep it current with claw and bite max ranks. Now if you disconnect your bear will save you.
When playing HC i always have a second instance of wow loaded and ready to hit enter on the password so that if a DC happens i can be back on instantly.
You do this by not using the launcher and instead load via the Warcraft Era folder under the world of warcraft file. there is a EXE file for windows OS (not certain if possible on mac OS) but its saved me twice now.
You can also go for the chad take zero damage run if you do this
That is probably pretty easy with this setup. I haven’t actually taken damage in 10 levels but wasn’t really trying.
You have the right attitude about it. Hardcore servers will be fun but just a thing to do until the next season is launched. Good luck in your adventures and I hope you get to 60 on the hc server!
