Tried FF14 - now I don't even care about classic

Ifrit queue popping means you’re just getting started. I have taken a break in the first expac

I kinda thought the same thing as the OP but just teleporting all over the map so you can watch more cutscenes starts to get old even if the plot is interesting.

TBC always feels like you are doing something when leveling.

While writing erotic fan fiction about Sephiroth?

I actually knew someone like that. She smelled like a dirty hamster cage.

Neither is your bumping for TBC thread and trying to prove that people want Dual Spec, and yet you are trying to accuse people who are arguing for the same thing and pushing them away. You are literally the most toxic hypocrite in this forum, and honestly it’s pretty disgusting to see a player like you exist in here. Proving Asmongold is right about how he feels about WoW community lately, and same for Pyromancer.

Seriously, don’t even bother asking for dual spec, because you are literally awful double standard joke since you are not exactly asking for improvement for QoL in WoW or improvements from the developers. If you cared a single part about it, you wouldn’t defend this game and be denial that everything is perfectly fine, and that it’s everyone else’s problem for disliking WoW and disliking developers.

Yet let me guess Wow classic is so much better. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

To me wow combat feels slow on most classes till Wrath and or The Mop revamp. Also level 20? Yea sorry you didn’t even try.

You sound like you belong in retail. You should go back to it.

5 copies of FFXIV, please

It’s like he never heard of World of Warcraft RP servers. Or even if he forgot that Warcraft literally revolves around roleplaying games.

Haahahahahahhahhahahahahaha

Don’t talk about your Vulpera like that.

I’ve heard some of the FF14 animations give a skating kinda airy feel to the combat. Having the combat feel responsive and grounded was one thing blizzard has really nailed. The slow combat from the early versions has a charm to it. Retail has a bit to much going on at fast speeds for me

Even if he played Retail, he won’t be able to tell which one is actually much faster because he has never played past level 50+

Lol? You guys are so full of it. FFXI ie hardly all gumdrops and rainbows.
It’s a good single player rpg. As an mmo it’s pretty lacking.

FF11 has solid community and still has bosses that takes 48 hours to kill even with 50 players, FYI.

I think he was making the point that a lot of FF14 revolves around the “sitting around” aspect.

Which really isn’t what folks think about concerning WoW.

Hence my reply is Riker looking around at two imaginary babes and saying, “I don’t need your fantasy women.”

Because that’s really all FF14 is. Really, that’s what any Final Fantasy game is: fan-service coating mediocre game-play.

FF14 is no different. Other than attracting a particular venue of players (of which I have never counted myself), I do not see the appeal.

I’ve played both games side by side since 2013. Honestly I like FFXIV much better than Wow. Only thing I’ve never liked about FFXIV was the Pvp. 2.0 pvp was fun as bard. After that I didn’t like its changes.

Do you all want to know why I kept playing wow? Pvp and casual pvp only. Wow got it right…Then legion happened. BFA made it worse, SL made it even worse.

I had hoped classic TBC would have been awesome but we all saw how that turned out. Lol I now like FFXIV pvp now…that’s sad cause FFs pvp is very bad.

Wow devs should fix pvp imo. Classic now just need Bots to be removed, honor needs to match pve gearing. (Seriously ending season 1 now?) and AFKers. While Retail…just needs to stop. Nothing about retail can be saved. It just needs to stop.

There isn’t any sitting around aspect. It’s literally a solidifying gameplay with good enough of story and lore. People can at least have different opinions about the game, but at least he should show some legitimate opinions than saying “it’s sluggish, and I only played up to lvl 20. If you like single player and want to rp, go play ff14”.

No, it doesn’t fix WoW’s current situation with that set of mind. It definitely doesn’t help with FF14 threads being in here, but Blizzard needs wake up call because their game for Classic and Retail are not doing so hot than what other people think.

I can definitely say FF14’s PVP is awful because PVP was never originally the agenda of the game.

For someone who kept pushing to ask for dual spec as a QoL improvement in WoW TBC, to tell others to leave is same mentality others been telling players to go play retail. It’s hypocritically toxic.

I wasn’t stating it was lol.

Without putting it in actual words it’s a game that caters more towards the crowd of having fun and not worrying about being good at your class or the game. The min/maxing and competitvness in WoW is what drives players to be better but at the same time gets feelings hurt for some. For the type of people who don’t like that, FF14 might be a more friendly game for them as there is less of a chance of someone saying something mean to you when you play poorly. It’s a fun adventure game as you level and especially since its new to alot of people, but that’s about it. Come endgame it doesn’t have near the playability of WoW raids or dungeons.

Instead of locking, they moved it to Off-Topic. So it’s technically off topic anyways LOL, but Blizzard won’t lock it because it’s still a game players who want to talk about it.
