If this is the case, they should really clarify the in-game tooltip. Since Maw dailies have Stygia as a reward much less often since 9.1, and Korthia dailies never have, that part of the tooltip is especially misleading. A lot of people on Wowhead seem to have had this same confusion, as all of the comments on this item are about how it hasn’t been working since patch launch. I would not have spent 800 research to get 10 extra Stygia from every third or fourth rare and treasure in Korthia, and maybe 1 out of 10 dailies in the Maw. I was thinking it would work like contracts, where you get a small amount of bonus currency (rep in the case of contracts) even on quests that don’t normally award that particular currency. And apparently so did several other people.
