Previously I would do the same. But they pushed me into the ‘don’t care anymore’ camp, unfortunately.
The annoyances outweigh the entertainment so I now do a bit of my own thing and spend the majority of my time elsewhere.
Rather liked the idea of housing, more’s the pity.

From what I surmise, the Lightforged Draenei who we talk to for one of the “found a doodad from an invasion” quests in .5 (who are also the still-living members of the group we worked with on Argus).
Presumably they heard Turalyon’s leadership got everyone killed and decided they should probably take the reins back for a bit.

Completely unnecessary content but I’ll still engage with it. I’m done with this season however because you guys have butchered the class design going into this expansion. We don’t have mages any more we have frost mage and that’s it

I’m so tired of these boring little mini zone islands. Couldn’t we get like an actual BIG zone instead? I actually like icy snow zones but come on, give us bigger zones.
So an expansion on ritual sites and instance essentially?
Not mad, but this doesn’t really seem inspired. Even the tmog is lackluster. Again.
How big are these areas even? Also… what a weird mash up of ritual site and siren isle…

Yea its definitely odd. I guess one thing to keep in mind is that it is a mid season patch. Not a full blown new tier or anything.
It’s something instead of nothing. And having suffered through WoD and SL… I do appreciate these mid seasons.
That was some new bs group called “Light’s Vanguard.” And they all got wiped out. lol
Oh. But at least Army of the Light makes sense, since we’re battling the Void. I don’t see how the Illidari fit into this, unless they just need a reason to keep them relevant because of the Devourer spec.

I’m actually starting to miss the 2-3 month breaks at the end of patches we used to have to unwind and destress.
These world content grinds are getting more and more ridiculous.

Partially this and partially because the entire purpose of the Illidari is to use the power against the threat to save the planet. That’s always been their thing: sacrificing who they are to become the enemy and know how to fight back.

I skipped WoD, and did the SL thing in the last season.
Can wait to see how butchered this will get when its going to be a fuster cluck for 2-3 days after roll out.
Going to other planets, which have been taken over now that Legion has been defeated.
Void came in for leftovers.
But Gnomeregan remains hostile, lmao.
Completionists might like this stuff, but imho it’s too many small mini events.
