Can we include an upgrade on head pieces? I hate having my character’s hair instantly disappear the moment I put a head piece on. It should be optional to show or hide hair.
I’ve been asking for this for years! There’s so many outfits I’d like to have a non-robed version of! Here’s a few photoshopped examples:
On a related note:
Blizzard artists are STILL taking shortcuts when it comes to footwear for outfits with robes. They keep giving us flat texture “socks” instead of proper boots with actual dimension that match the gloves. Just like they did with the Blood Elf heritage armor.
We used to get 3D boots with robes but from WOTLK onwards, they’ve been more frequently taking the “socks” shortcut. They don’t even bother putting the texture on one of the currently existing generic boot models and they certainly don’t take the time and effort to detail the footwear to match the gloves like they should, trusting that because those boots are part of a robed set that no one will care because no one sees the boots anyways… until someone uses everything BUT the robe because they don’t want to wear a dress…
They seriously need to stop with this nonsensical idea that its ok to take the lazy shortcut on robe set footwear. This is the age of transmog where we don’t always use every piece of a specific set so even the boots have to look good and match the darn gloves.
I can’t express how disappointed I was that they did that to the Blood Elf heritage armor. I mean. they took the time to give us a non-robe version of the chest piece. You’d think someone in the art department might have noticed that the socks make a BE wearing it look absurdly “top heavy”. The gloves have a gorgeous 3D model and are intricately designed… the boots should have MATCHED them. But no… they went with “socks”.
Yes we know their engine can show flowing hair, belts, etc. Why do all robes still look like they’re painted onto us?
Right? I would love to have multi-layered looks like Jaina or Khadgar.
