Transmog is forever, item level is temporary

And forever lose every single roll. Good plan. Nice use of my time.

Eh it could be argued that that power is more important because it’s only relevant during that timeframe. You could always go back next expansion and get transmogs, while those items won’t be useful power-wise to you anymore.

Why would you say something so controversial and yet so brave?

You look good you feel good, you feel good you play gooder.

WoW= tmog+ mounts
item lv? hmm
I don’t really care, and i dont feel jealous item lvs.
its going to be trash soon but i spend more hours to leveling another new toons for having extra chances!

“My need for that item as transmog overrides your need for that same item for transmog.”

You can also just use the catalyst.

They will understand this sentiment eventually. Transmog is forever. Your little baby ilvl boost for the baby expac that is more transient than a cab driver is so temporary now it’s not even funny. Gear Ilvl doesn’t even last 2 seasons anymore.

The system works, everyone determines their own level of need. Enough said.

To be fair, transmog is not forever.

Nothing is forever.

Eventually WoW will end, as all things do, and when that day comes our entire transmog collections will vanish into thin air.

Oh snaps
 So deeeeeeeeeep.

In that case, there is no reason to bother rolling since everyone in the group can roll “transmog” and unlock the appearance anyway.

Transmog can simply be changed to when it drops, everyone in the group automatically unlocks that transmog, if their class was eligible for the loot.

I doubt Blizzard would ever do this though because #timeplayedmetric.

hell yeah i like it

The rolls are for people who want the actual gear piece.

Fair point.

Just make it so that collecting an appearance at a higher ilvl opens all tints below it.

BAM. Problem solved.

People have thought of it. Blizzard just won’t do it.

Until then you have these pointless threads goading the ‘other side’ of the opinion of transmog vs ilevel.

In the end, no one’s going to agree with each other. And they’re gonna continue to do what they’re gonna do.

That would make too much sense
so they will never do it.
