Something noticeable to anyone who transmogs their character are the limitations of the armor colors. One black-colored item from one set, will look completely different from another black-colored item from another set. This is the same issue with every color - white, red, gold, green, etc.
My solution would keep every item within the intended color-space of the original design. A tint slider would be added within the transmog window. By default each item’s slider would be right in the middle. The exact color of the original design. But if you move the slider to the left, it tints a little more cool-toned. If you move the slider to the right, it tints it a little more warm-toned. By adjusting the slider left or right, you would essentially be able to match one item to another item, while not drastically changing the set itself.
I think this would enhance the ability of players to create custom mogs instead of being unable to ever use certain items because they simply have the wrong tint of color.
Let me be clear. It’s not a hue slider - it’s not changing the color of the items, rather, you’d be changing the tone of the item.
You’d finally be able to get white armor that had a slightly cool tone, to match white armor that had a warm tone, etc. etc.
