So, since we know mop is almost here, has anyone else been looking for good tmog for your character. Especially for the new class monk?
The reason I bring it up is I found this in the ah.
And considering that the agility heirloom mace is great for brew leveling that is definitely what I’m going with for the shear sake of drinking and then using the cup to fight.
Anyway have you found anything interesting, doesn’t have to be monk. Tmog themed around expansion type is always fun. Or are you keeping a more standard tmog?
I think it’s the Cataclysmic? PvP set for Rogue that I think is one of the few armor sets that actually looks good prior to Pandaria. I still use it along with the legendary cloak and Shado-Pan hood on my Pandaren Rogue on retail today
Other than that it’s more or less just taking whatever matches and waiting for Pandaria to start adding actual flair to different armor pieces. Rather than “another full-body robe with a slightly more detailed pattern”
Maybe I’ve just been spoiled by more modern retail armor sets. The season 2 priest tier in Dragonflight was some of the best armor ever designed in the entire game…

Oh I agree that for the most part that things that look good on monk will pretty much always be in the expansion itself. I just like looking for things that could fit and how they might fit.
I will say the rogue masks in particular look good on the pandaran if you are going for the traveler type look.
I’ll admit I don’t really play retail all that much but I do sometimes log in just to see what new outfits they have.
I just want Naxx 40 re-added to the game for xmog purposes. (They added many of the missing appearances in retail)
Ditto Bloodrenched mask (vanilla ZG leather helm item that shares an appearance with Defias mask) (They added the mask appearance in WoD)
Just no way to get either of them in cata/mop

Don’t a lot of those get added back with the BMAH or whatever it is called?
(Yes, I’d rather go farm them in Naxx 40. No reason we can’t get Zidormi to change what the zone is).
The tier sets do, the specific items I’d have wanted do not. (Necro knight garb)
