Transfers to Grobbulus?

Because you need new people to replace those that inevitably quit? We’ve already lost 1/3rd of the population since Wrath launched. Are we just gonna stay locked forever while other servers suck up the rest of the player base? Horde side drastically improved when we got the big wave of transfers in TBC.

What we have now is perfect, full server but no queues.

The server is fine now but I think I’m pretty sure that Wrath launch is gonna go down as the population apex of classic wow. That kind of activity and the resulting queues are not coming back imo, so that leaves us with a situation where Grobb’s factions are 1/2 to 1/3rd the size of competitor servers (Bene/Faer/Pagle/Whitemane).

That’s fine, I never wanted Grobbulus to be a mega server anyway.

Blizzard totally bricked their server management in TBC so we have very little server choice and the megaservers that have been created have a dominant portion of the playerbase on them. So unfortunately, you kinda have to stay one of the biggest servers to survive through the extent of this Classic project.

No disagreement there. I still think Grobb should be locked to transfers though. If someone really wants to play here, they can level up a new character.

Fair enough. I concede that opening up transfers could be risky, especially for the faction balance, but I thought that it made perfect sense to absorb Skyfury once it had shrunk enough given that it’s a balanced us-west pvp realm.

The medium pop servers could use them more than us.

Eranikus is the only medium pop pvp server, and yeah I guess they need it more than us, but it might be too late for them at this point.

for elves its get difficult. I go okay…one alt char.acter

name taken

2 alt chars (even I hate this)…

name taken. I don’t go 3…that is jsut too damned much.

20 names later from namegeneratorforfun, name taken. not only I use tolkien name generators lol.

okay…no rp name it is. This is what TRP like addons are for. More reasonable RP players know the one name wow system is flawed. TRP fixes that.

last names is all we wanted here. they could have done that on the 1 to 60 redo before release.

yes, because those 8 hours queues are something we all miss so much.

  1. Queues are never coming back. This game is in terminal decline.
  2. They were easy to circumnavigate if you have a brain.
