So I’ve had this problem occur sporadically since the launch of SL. I will queue for a 3v3 arena, queue pops, I hit enter, loading screen, loading screen goes away and I’m back where I queued from with the deserter buff and the error text saying “transfer aborted: Instance not found.” It also happens to my 3’s partner, but not at the same time. Very frustrating for it to happen in 3v3 because we lose rating from it. Collectively nearly ~200 rating lost, feels bad.

Today it has gotten to the point where I cannot fly anywhere in SL without getting stuck and bugging my characters, not sure when this will be fixed. I have tried everything people have mentioned here and still no reprieve.

Literally can’t load into my own covenant sanctum. Now my character is bugged off the map, again, and it’s a bit tedious to always use the character stuck service on the website.

I have this issue. I just keep curse open to update addons when it happens and i dont get it anymore. the pace at which addons update is killing it.
Happened to me once where I fell off a fp and had to get GM to port me. Just happened again. Won’t port me to ardenweald because “instance not found”. This game is absolute trash. Billion dollar company can’t handle major gameplay issues. This whole “They’re aware and working on the issue” is a joke and anyone that responds with that is the scum of the earth. It’s a nonsense response. This isn’t something that should exist the in the live game and especially not for months on end.
Considering it’s been months and they’re “aware and working on it” I’d say it should be fixed by the time the next expansion rolls around, but that’s probably giving them too much credit.

I doubt there is a fix coming, period. Issues like this are a QA nightmare, they know that and probably haven’t assigned a resource to it because they see it as low priority without any direction of how to solve it. It’s not like they can just pick a random player and watch the logs either, although that’s where someone should start. Solve it one player at a time 1 on 1 until you find a common cause.
Considering it became so widespread on SL release, it probably isn’t surface level, or even one specific problem.
Editing to add: “This will resolve itself after a short period of time”/“sometimes happens after realm reset” is not an appropriate QA response, we have no time frame for when the game is safe to play, this affects rated arenas, RGBs, etc… We can’t expect to Q with our team and tank their rating not knowing “oh gee have we waited long enough after realm reset to be safe”.
The best fix they can do right now is to give players with this issue a free realm transfer so they can connect to a server without the problem. But… they won’t do that and after shadowlands the next expansion is going to be so awful that the player population will dip the hardest it ever dipped and guess what… not everyone wants to go to classic/tbc its just slow and boring so yea the player will lose and the blizzard will lose. sad but true o well there are other games coming out… im giving this issue one last maitenace to fix if its still here im out not paying money for this, its literally worse then a private server not exaggerating, queing up for 2v2 rated arena and then being in a loading screen and sudenly being kicked right after and having ur teamate 1v2 is not okay at all. give us free realm transfers and the problem is solved until then people will leave and ur next expansion wont be better the chance of that is super super low shadowlands was just luck cuz u downscaled hp and people are able to die good job getting lucky but next expasion people will have 150k hp and deal 6k crits soooo yea byeeee

hi. i have this issue for week and i did everything you did and GM said ,so something for us man,i stuck in dungeon with druid and stuck in oribos with my monk and i have issue with instance not found.i paid money for time card and patch but i cant play,i have only 25 days more left and i cant buy time card again, i need to farm in game man there is some people like me who cant pay price for nothing .do something about this issue.this is blizzard problem not ours.fix this i send too many tickets and i tired to send ticket again because gms will say repeat talk like npc.do something to fix i have guild to run but im offline all the time because of this issue

Another day, another “Transfer Aborted: Instance not found”. Just now, myself and my fiance logged in just fine, only to get this error while flying to Oribos (not the first time on a Tuesday we’ve had this happen). Now I’m stuck as a corpse on a hillside in Revendreth unable to release. Both home and world latencies are fine, everything worked fine when I logged on - no lag or delay of any sort. As I was typing this out, it finally let me release after about a 3-4 minute delay, but I’m now stuck on trying to get on my mount. Fiance went the force close and reload route, only to get stuck on the load screen.
Edited to add: Now after about 2 minutes of watching my character trying to do much of anything, the whole game force closed itself without any prompting from my end.

Never had the issue myself… until today.
Same here…never had this issue until today. Waystone in the Maw didn’t work. Flying into Oribos didn’t work. Keep getting the “Transfer Aborted” error when trying to zone change. The Waystone would pull up the loading screen but kick me back to the maw and not complete the zone change to Oribos. When flying into Oribos I get stuck on the “landing” until I get dismounted and kicked into “The In-Between” and have to wait several minutes to die. Sigh…
WEll Ive finally stopped falling in the white void of Elysian Hold to being non stop reset in bastion with no chance of leaving the air drop location cause i keep getting reset right int he same spot over and over.
This is the bug that never ends…it goes on and on my friends…
Pretty much everytime flying into Maldraxxus, and often when flying into Bastion

same problem here in new zealand and its nothing to do with firewall everything else is working fine only wow is problematic
